   Not one to leave bad reviews however wanted to express our disappointment as no one actually ever asked us and had to constantly chase to even get anything we wanted. Visited last night for Father’s Day, had a visit a few months ago an thought we’d caught them on an off night but wanted to give them benefit of the doubt and try again but really wish we hadn’t. it wasn’t busy at all but we waited almost an hour before we got our starters because of such slow service. Curries all tasted the same, me and my son had completely different curries one coconut based however the sauces tasted exactly the same and so bland. Bottom of the garlic nann was burnt and tasted burnt so went back a fresh one came back but was rock hard so hard to even get a knife through it. My son’s glass shattered in his hand (must’ve had a crack in it) let a member of staff know, never removed the said glass or offered to help try clear the glass shards up of the table we where eating on to stop him from getting cut which then lead to my older son getting glass in his hand. Never checked on, never asked if we wanted more drinks or desserts. In the end had to chase the bill and left money on the table never acknowledged paying he bill or us on our way out.

   Fantastic restaurant! We visited for our wedding anniversary and enjoyed it that mich we might just make it our tradition. Staff were helpful, polite and well mannered whilst the food was fresh and delicious. So delicious we had our leftovers wrapped and took them home!

   A group of 5 of us went for a friends birthday, it was one of the best meals we've had in many a long year, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was amazing and we will definitely be back many more times

   Never really bother with reviews but honestly the food was so bad I can’t not! I ordered paneer massala and my husband ordered paneer pasanda both curries looked identical and were insanely sweet with absolutely zero depth of flavour only difference in taste was my husbands was sweeter so presumably they made one curry and added mango chutney to make the second one. Both curries were watery and left puddles in the bottom of the dish. The rice was like baby food with some spices thrown in, was definitely not basmati! Only saving grace was the fries and the garlic paratha which is all we ate the rest was horrible and dispute trying to eat it it went in the bin.

   I visited La Pondicherry tonight and must say was very disappointed! I understand they were extremely busy however I feel there should’ve been much better communication between staff members. First of all, we were sat at the table right outside the kitchen (table 17), I was facing the kitchen and saw one of the waiters put both of our curries in the microwave , which put me off from the start! Both of our curries were very tasteless and watery. I found a piece of metal in my curry and we ordered a cheese and garlic naan which had no cheese on. I hate to complain, however after spending £70 for 2 of us it’s not good enough. Unfortunately will not be returning :(

   Was really looking forward to trying pondicherry but was disappointed, the staff seem great the starters were slightly above average but the main meals were worst than ready meals the chicken is frozen cheap chicken the stuff you get in a 25kg block and the sauces have very little taste. The place had a strange toilet smell too, it was a bit off putting. Won’t be trying again !!!

   La pondicherry is by far the best restaurant I use. Nothing is ever too mich trouble for them. We come on most special occasions. Spent last Christmas day there and we are there again this year. All the staff are amazing. Ignore the fake scam reviewers. Try it for yourself I assure you that you won't be disappointed
