   We have been going to the Copper Cow for many years and the food is fantastic. Oli is always polite and nothing is too much trouble with him. You will not beat a friendly restaurant and if you are a steak lover you will not be disappointed.

   We booked a table last minute and were genuinely impressed. The food was outstanding - highly recommend the flat iron steak and the stuffed cheese chicken breast from the specials menu. The chocolate fudge brownie sundae was rich (but no overbaringly so) and perfectly chocolatey. Best sundae I've had. What really made the night though was the service. Ollie was so friendly and made us feel totally at ease. He made sure we had everything we needed without any fuss at all. Adding to then laid back atmosphere we needed after full day renovating. We’ll definitely be back - especially to try the Sunday roast, which Ollie highly recommended!

   My family and I came for lunch on Christmas Day. This was our first visit to The Copper Cow and we will most certainly be back. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The canapés on arrival were absolutely exquisite and the 3 course meal delicious and faultless. We all had a wonderful time and couldn’t have asked for any more. Thank you so much to all the staff for the amazing service, food and drinks. Highly, highly recommend.

   Went today for Sunday lunch. Absolutely stunning food. Had home made mushroom soup... full of flavour. We shared the cow platter for mains. All cooked to perfection. Took our 2 dogs. Bones were provided and a bowl of water. They had their photos taken, to put in their gallery. Very friendly owner and staff. Who all engaged in our conversation. Definitely. Recommend.

   Haven’t visited Copper Cow for a few months, Used to love this place and came at least once a month but was very disappointed when we recently visited. I am not sure if it has new owners or change of chef but the food is no where near as good as it was the last time we came, or all the other times we’ve been in the past. Fries were chewy as if microwaved, chicken burger is now thigh not breast, not something I would expect when paying £13 or more. starter literally tasteless, not even seasoned. Service very slow. Much better places to eat locally than here. Very disappointing.

   Visited for the first time with two children. Very friendly staff; good selection of drinks and food. Will definitely visit again… (Apr 22) Visited again (two adults and one child). We didn’t book, but the staff said there was no problem l; we just need to have a drink and wait a while. We had the prawn burrito (odd dish, but tasted good), burger and swordfish. No tomato or cheese, but double burger, pulled pork and bacon. It tasted okay, but it’s hard to tell if they are processed/frozen or hand made burgers. I think the former. Overall, staff were very friendly and welcoming; food is good and each time we visit we learn what to order. (June 22)

   Now rated as my best Steak House in Calderdale, worth a trip out to visit, lovely staff, atmosphere is relaxed and families welcome and you won't be disappointed. Top chef and plenty of quality food
