So had a take out delivered to our campsite, delivered on time, delicious food, big portions, hot, well packed and really tasty, definitely order again, highly recommended.
Came across this restaurant by accident taking a wrong turn for our hotel. One of the best naan breads I have had (garlic). We had the Goan lamb and garlic chilli balti. The taste of the sauce for the Goan dish was the best I've tasted in ages.
Chose this Indian as it had off street parking. Menu seems reasonable on prices. It's the first Indian I have been to where the Korma had more flavour than the Tikka Masala. Rice tasted like it had been microwaved, came in plastic cup containers that had the look of being microwave pre made rice packets. Meat was the thickness you would get in ready cooked meats counter in a supermarket.
The service was top notch, very friendly and professional. The decor was great and the whole place, including the toilets, was spotless. The food we had was delicious and plentiful. There is one tiny criticism, the chicken tikka in both our dishes was a little bland and not as well cooked as other restaurants but all in all we really enjoyed our meals and if we’re ever in the area again we would eat there again.
Best Indian-Bangladeshi food we ever had in york. Very good ambience and friendly staff. Food was on point. Highly recommended.

We stopped here on the way back from York designer outlet. It's only a 10 minute drive from the outlet. The food was mouthwateringly delicious and presented nicely. It was very authentic, fresh, generous portions and good value. The service was amazing. The place has a nice, welcoming atmosphere and the decor is lovely. Staff were friendly and polite. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

Been going to this lovely restaurant for more than a year and I have to say that I've never tasted anything more delicious than the foods they always prepared me, even in London!! I always do takeouts and their speed and service leaves me satisfied all the time. The food they prepare always tastes fresh and the chefs always put their passion into it. Strongly recommend this place and I will keep visiting this place to have my dinner! Thank you and Im grateful to the Sylhety Lounge Team!
