Looked lovely and tasted better than any in Acomb. Would recommend to everybody ever. The rich juicy flavours of the chicken really brought out the exquisite spice of the sauce. “This restaurant was recommended by a friend and it exceeded our already high expectations! This was genuine Keralan food made to order as we asked about items not on the menu. We had the Railway Mutton Dosa, Butter Chicken with sides. Fantastic service and thanks for our anniversary treat! Big shout out to Suryan! Great evening and we even took food home!”

“The future of kebabs is in great hands. We tried these yesterday and had to get them again tonight. They are the tastiest kebabs we have ever had! Served in a naan with juicy lamb thats spiced to perfection and served with salad and the sauces you get with pickle trays, especially that mint one that everyone fights for it was just amazing and so filling. Well done to the chefs and whoever decided to put it as a menu option! Try it out and be prepared to get addicted!”

“We were staying locally and decided to pop in and try this Indian restaurant. It was the best Indian food we have had. We ordered a veggie platter for 2, chicken korma, mushroom rice, and chips. Every dish was tasty, fresh, and hot. The food was served very quickly. The staff were very friendly. It had a great atmosphere and was not too pricey. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.”

“On holiday, stumbled across Indian Ocean. Excellent Service, very friendly. Food was amazing, lamb was beautiful and soft with peppers tomatoes and onions, a dish recommended by a member of staff. Daughter enjoyed her korma and husband sizzling chicken dish. Probably the best Indian we've had. Lovely and clean restaurant, would visit again.”

“An absolutely bloody exceptional meal. Lamb chops, still slightly pink, seasoned to perfection. Complex curries, very spicy, but still delicious and enjoyable. Lovely chippies, massively tasty naan bread. Not exactly service with a smile but professional enough not to detract from the experience. Best part? The price. Two course meal for two and three alcoholic drinks for less than £70. Outstanding. Best curry house in York and definitely in our top three country-wide. Will be thinking about this meal for a while...”

“I thought the food and service was excellent. However it was very quiet so ambience was difficult to gauge although it’s not the cosiest of spaces and if it was busy I think it would be loud and a bit sterile. Having said that would like to try it again when it is busy just to see.”
