Great food, friendly staff, cheap pricing (much cheaper than a greasy KFC or other places doing things like breakfast items)
I've got a mixed feelings/reviews. First time I went for a sausage cob it was really tasty and I didn't think it was too badly priced. Went the other week for a ham salad and I was really disappointed. There was hardly any ham, one piece of iceberg lettuce, a thin slither of cucumber and tomato and that was a full salad? I was expecting a lot more for the price, where was the egg, peppers, onions or beetroot like you get at other shops? The cheesecake that was also purchased was nice, not sure how much this cost but the overall price did seem a tad on the expensive side. I'll try it again at some point but probably only for hot food.
Such lovely staff serve up the food and drinks at Buttylicious. You can eat inside or sit outside using one of the new tables and benches available. Full cooked breakfasts are available, and vegetarian breakfasts are also advertised. However, the vegetarian option doesn't include vegetarian sausage or bacon. The breakfast consists of hash browns, egg, beans or tomatoes. There is a good range of hot & cold sandwiches available. I can definitely say that the chip buttys are really tasty. Excellent chips, best we have tasted for a long time. To top it all off, if you still have room, there is a really good range of cakes that taste as good as they look. Over the months, we have never been disappointed with them and have resorted to buying them to take home too...... Hope you all enjoy your food
EDIT Business as usual now post covid. Indoor seating with beautiful food offered and cooked for you. I really look forward to the next time that I will be eating at Buttylicious. .........................................,.......................... At the moment it is either takeaway or to eat outside so I chose to sit down at one of the tables outside. Thoroughly beautiful cooked full English with a mug of coffee for a great price. After I had finished and got up, the table was cleaned properly straight away so that the next customer could use the facilities. I will definitely be back for another plate the next time I am off work. Thank you for being so welcoming and look forward to seeing you again x
Absolutely amazing cafe, been regularly for a while now, and is faultless in customer service, food and price, well recommended.
great little place with lots to offer. the breakfast was amazing and at great price too food came fast and hot even better it was made to order so all fresh foods. all staff made conversation and were really friendly. the dining area is very clean and bright, with a 5* hygiene rating I will Definitely visit again. if your visiting chesterfield or just passing make sure to stop here.
