This gorgeous restaurant is just on the outskirts of the city and it’s well worth the journey to sample the most delicious Persian food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The portions are generous, every dish was flavoursome and beautifully presented. The service is perfect and the restaurant is modern and stylish. The food and drinks were great value for money and we loved the restaurant.

Friendly and attentive staff, amazing tasting food and not hard to get to. Would highly recommend. We ordered: Starters - Tzakziki, Hummus (both come with traditional Iranian bread) & Dolmeh Mains - Chenjeh (with skin on fries to share) & Spring Chicken (with Zeresk Polo Rice to share) Recommend saving some of the dips from the starter to enjoy with your mains! We went just after Sheffield Wednesday finished their game (it is next to Hillsborough Stadium), but found no issue with transport as it is close to the tram stop. Overall, a great experience!

The food was fantastic! Delicious starters and mains. The food tasted amazing and was presented really well too! Environment was fantastic too, only 1 feedback was, for a hot day the air conditioning wasn’t great. Overall we had a fabulous time and really enjoyed our evening!

We had a great dinner at Antler Grill and Wine. Everything we tried, from the Dolmeh and Kash o Bademjan to the Chenjeh and Shandizi, was full of flavour and well prepared. The meat was delicious, the starters were balanced and rich, and the portions were generous. We shared a Zereshk Polo rice, which had a lovely saffron aroma and paired nicely with the mains. To finish, we had Bastani. The light saffron flavour in the ice cream was a refreshing way to end the meal. We’ll definitely come back to try more. Thanks to the kitchen team, everything was well prepared and enjoyable.

Overall, the experience was quite pleasant. The lamb chops were absolutely perfect. However, the rice did not quite meet my expectations for authentic Persian style, and the atmosphere lacked any Persian elements, which made it feel less like home. Therefore, I would rate it with four stars.

The Antler is a must-visit if you're in the mood for delicious Persian food. Though the menu isn't extensive, there are excellent choices like the lamb rump and lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection. The saffron rice and bread were excellent sides, and the wine selection was great. The warm atmosphere and exceptional service made for an unforgettable dining experience. Five stars!

Decided to go to Antler as a spontaneous date night after wanting to try since it’s opening and it did not disappoint. Lovely staff and tasty food. Asked if they were open at 4pm to be told drinks and small plates but mains wouldn’t until 5pm as the coals needed to be put on and warmed up. Myself and husband said that was fine and we’d have a drink and a small plate or 2 and pass the time till 5, they were kind enough to put them no early so we didn’t have to wait around. Absolutely stellar customer service! Not only that but offered extra bits to try after discussing menu items which was very sweet and kind. 100% recommend anyone considering going to do so, we’ll definitely be coming back again.

We visited Antler recently for my husband’s 40th birthday. We were greeted by friendly staff and given a detailed explanation of the menu items given that we have never had Persian food before. We chose a few small plates to start with and the chef very kindly sent us some extra bits to try which were amazing and ended up being our favourites (smoked sausage and aubergine dip!) We both had grilled lamb and chicken for our main course which was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by saffron rice with barberries - also delicious. For dessert we had baklava and saffron ice cream which were both incredibly good. The decor is gorgeous as well. Highly recommended and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
