We visited yesterday 19/12, as a party of 13 ( 8 kids 5 adults ) for our annual end of term celebration. Our server Niamh was outstanding. Hands down the best service I’ve ever had in a restaurant. We are a tricky party with 4 ppl with allergies. Niamh was exceptional. By the end she knew most of the kids names. Great food and service- we will definitely return.

My son had his 6th birthday party here today with Evie hosting it! What an experience for them all. Evie was brilliant from start to finish and took it all on herself with no help. A group of 13 5 and 6 year olds all managed with ease (at least she made it seem) All the children were engaged, learned lots and ate lots!! The best party! Thank you!

Visited Pizza Express in Broughton Park with a large family group, including two babies. Even though it wasn’t busy, the service was awful from the start. We asked for a high chair and were ignored, then the staff member actually rolled his eyes when we got one from the manager.
Starters were a mess — the buffalo chicken was frozen in the middle. They remade it, but the trust was already gone. Mains were extremely slow, despite being thin stone-baked pizzas. Some starters never arrived, food came out one plate at a time, and my daughter’s £6 child salad was dry and bland (she only enjoyed her dough balls). My brother’s meal was wrong and had to be sent back, leaving him with nothing.
All the while, staff seemed more focused on Deliveroo orders than the people sitting in the restaurant.
Half of our meals were wrong or never arrived. We ended up asking for the bill and leaving — and honestly regretted paying anything at all. A stressful, disappointing experience from start to finish and completely avoidable with better service and care.

I had a fabulous impromptu dinner with my 4 and 2 year old this evening. The food was amazing but more importantly Niamh our server was incredible! She was welcoming, friendly and super attentive to our needs. (The kind of waitress who just knows what you need before you need it). She was constantly moving and showed a high standard for both customer service and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant. I don’t think I saw a table left for more than a minute before she replenished it. As someone who has hospitality and retail experience - balancing maintenance and high quality customer service Is no easy task! Honestly wow. I don’t often get such good service that I make sure to sit down asap to write a positive review. She is an amazing member of your team!

I told the servers I had a bus in an hour, and they made sure I had been served, eaten, and paid in that time - wonderful service! Plus, the food was delicious! Only note is the goat's cheese wasn't as tangy as usual - different brand, maybe? Delicious nonetheless. The deals on the pizza express app made it even more worthwhile. Thanks!

Food was lovely, let's start there, great pizzas, pasta and dough balls... these were done beautiful so props to the chef. the part that loses a star for me would be the service, we were a party of 5, the place was empty and we were seated with one menu between all of us, the waiter advised would be back with more but 10 mins later we still only had one and hadn't even been asked for drinks. gentleman came over, said we looked like we need more menus and then him and another gent were great servers, polite just at the end of the meal we had poled our plates up and were waiting for the bill but numerous times were walked past and not asked if we were done or wanted bill. we then asked for it ourselves in the end.
