   Had a great morning here. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast with my lovely friends. We were well looked after by Jamie, who was so pleasant and attentive. I can highly recommend visiting the Ring o Bells, Daresbury.

   Gorgeous evening as always in our local little pub. We were looked after by the new manager I think he was called tom. We had issues with the food but tom quickly rectified this and apologized explaining there was new kitchen staff and he would pass on the concerns. I have to be honest the quality of the food has been below par on recent visits. We absolutely love this pub tho and will be returning!

   The staff were really nice, however the food on this occasion was very poor. We gave some feedback to the staff who kindly knocked some meals off the bill for us. We were a large booking so were asked to send a preorder in a week earlier, which we did. Upon arrival, we were advised that the preorder was lost, so we'd have to place our orders again now. Not a problem, just a sign of things to come. Turkey dinner... most of the plate was burnt to a crisp and inedible. Sirloin steak, ordered medium rare but came well done. The meat was practically grey it was so overcooked. We ordered 3 lentil, spinach and veg wellingtons but what came can only be described as an onion and gravy pasty - not at all as described on the festive menu and something Greggs would be ashamed to sell. For desert, we ordered 3 of the Christmas puddings, but what came to the table was 3 chocolate fondants. The waiter who took our order did repeat back to us the order when he took it and also confirmed he remembered us asking for Christmas pudding, but somehow from being entered on his tablet to it getting to the kitchen, it had changed. 2 of the party were happy to just have the chocolate fondant, but we did ask for 1 Christmas pud. After about 5 mims, we were then told that there was in fact no brandy sauce for the pud, so we opted for cream. The place was practically empty when we arrived at 6:30pm on a Saturday, which should have been our first warning sign. A couple of other tables arrived while we were there, but there is clearly something not right here anymore. We've been visiting here for many years now, but sadly, we will not be coming back. Can't fault the waiting on staff during our visit at all, they were very apologetic and said there'd been some sickness with the kitchen staff, which was why things were not as smooth as usual.

   This was a lovely place to eat I ordered steak & ale pie with fries & vegetables and my husband had the pork belly they was both lovely and for dessert I had homemade tart with custard and my husband tried the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. The food was lovely worth the money and big portions, I would highly recommend.

   Always fantastic food and service at the Ring O Bells. I was supposed to be taking my staff for a Christmas meal which we unfortunately had to cancel due to travel conditions for some people. They very kindly allowed us to still use the deposit paid for my partner and myself to eat there. Photographed is the Prosciutto wrapped cod loin and the slow cooked beef cheek off the festive menu.

   Recommend. Great place for drinks and food. Quite spacious with indoor and outdoor seating available. Also, suitable place if you are dining in groups (10-15 people) Pet friendly place.
