   Carvery style restaurant with a choice from a menu as well. Carvery was excellent and due to the large amount of people for Christmas parties the food was all very fresh and piping hot. Could have done with extra staff carving meat to help reduce the waiting time for the carvery(25 minute wait). Staff worked really hard to keep everywhere cleared and topped up with drinks

   This place offers a wide variety of food. It has regular pub food along with a carvery. We had regular food. Portion sizes are quite small to what I'd normally expect BUT if you're not full on your meal then have a pudding. They are HUGE. Overall the pub is warm and welcoming. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is tasty and delivered quickly. Definitely worth a visit.

   Majority of food was nice, cakes were fabulous apart from extremely hard millionaires shortbread we had to take back due to it not being edible as it was so hard. This is the only reason I marked the service down as the attitude and comments from the staff member taking the orders behind the bar was awful. My mother returned her millionaires shortbread and very politely explained she couldn't eat it as it was too hard. The server was quite rude with her and told her there was nothing wrong with it, and it was just hard because it had been kept in thr fridge! It even looked as hard and dry as it obviously was! Definitely didnt look anything like the version showing in the cake counter which was a bit disappointing. She couldn't even put her knife through it!! It was not just fridge cold it was rock hard! Certainly not normal! Shame as the rest of the experience was good, just the servers response to my mother returning the dessert was poor! The pumpkin latte cake was good and the carrot cake was fabulous! The Coffee was also lovely.

   First time here today. What a beautiful pub, so spacious and comfortable. Food was absolutely fresh and well prepared. The massive cakes are moist and scrumptious. Loved it!

   Went to Evenwood Farm whilst waiting for a car repair and couldn’t have been made more welcome by Allan. He found me a quiet table close to a socket so I could work while I waited and was happy to help with anything I needed. I stayed for food which was very good and reasonably priced. Excellent service in a very good pub.

   Had a lovely experience here on Saturday! Allan and Sophie and the team were very accommodating. All the team were very happy and bubbly! Liam the carvery chef was amazing and gave us a warm welcome! He always makes the best carvery! Couldn’t thank Allan enough, he took great care of us! We will definitely be back! See you next time!

   The carvery never disappoints. It's something I don't eat very often and it works out cheaper to eat out, when you live alone. Our roast dinner was followed by a crunchy munchy each. I don't normally go for a cold dessert but I make an exception in this case. The Evenwood is always clean and the staff are always pleasant. A lovely meal spent with a friend visiting from Wales.

   We go in hear a lot and every time with out doubt the food is perfect .I would like to say that Allan is an amazing bartender and is always great at for filling are needs .he will make sure we have everything we need and all the food is made to perfection. If there is ever anything wrong with are food(which is very rare)he will make up for it .I would definitely recommend this .Allan is amazing and I would like to say a big thank you to him.5star review for Allan
