“We attended a double christening of our 2 great grandchildren then onto the lockdown for food and entertainment. It was a wonderful afternoon brilliant atmosphere friendly staff. All in all a wonderful day.”

Reasonable bar/drinks prices.”

“Cannot fault this place. Its not the Ritz and nor should it be for the price. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable double bed. The staff were friendly and amazing. The prices were cheapest ive seen for some time in the bar. Have not got a bad word to say about this place. Thank you for a great stay.”

“Food is best in Runcorn - fresh proper cooking. Very flavourful. The soft tacos are amazing, loaded fries and burgers all better than most big city places. Chips are some of best I've had anywhere. Staff are super friendly and food is cooked quick whilst still being top quality. Great atmosphere for drinking and cocktails always nice, good variety of drinks, great atmosphere. Always doing takeout food at the weekend as a treat and food value compared to others in Runcorn”

“Fantastic pub. Extremely lucky to have this on our doorstep. Food is consistently good and miles better than what you would expect from a pub - personally I’d recommend the Norton burger. The Sunday roasts are great too. Lots of events and things to do here, has a nice community feel to it. Great staff and Claire the landlady is the most welcoming person.”

“Visited The castle while our friends dog was being groomed had lovely drinks and different meals for lunch all very nice home cooked food and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely call again 5☆.Also it's a dog friendly pub and our friends dog was given treats from the landlady.”

“Came here with my work for a meal and drinks. We all sat out in the courtyard which I thought was very nice. There were all these huts around a fire pit and the they were all shielded from the sun which was great as it was a super hot day. They did also have heaters underneath all of them so would be a great place to sit out on a cold day as well. The food came out and it looked amazing. I ordered the 8oz ribeye steak.”

“Our first time at Ten lock flight and it didnt disappoint. The staff were friendly and as a party of 6 with no reservation were very accommodating. The menu was great with lots of choice. The food arrived hot and was delicious, I would recommend the Cowboy burger. Dessert was delicious. Meg the staff member that served us this afternoon was attentive at all times. Will definitely be coming back.”

“Restaurant was busy but the service was still top notch . We had chicken melt , mixed grill and a children’s spaghetti bolognese . Food came out quite quick and was really nice . Emma served us and as always was very attentive and chatty. Atmosphere always friendly and upbeat . This is why we always come back.”

“We stopped off for some breakfast, i had the eggs benedict the hubby a small breakfast- service was nice and quick, the guy who served me with our drinks was friendly. Our food was satisfactory.Toilets are on the ground floor which can be easy to locate sometimes in wetherspoons they can be quite far away or up a flight of stairs.”
