Visited this fabulous Thai restaurant for the very first time this weekend. The food was tremendous, reasonably priced and all staff were so welcoming. We will definitely return.
There’s a dish I absolutely love – Yellow Curry. When I arrived at Thai Jaa and saw it on the menu, I was so happy. The dish was fantastic! My wife and her family ordered other dishes, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. We’ll definitely be coming back!
I'm kicking myself that I have never tried this place for over 30 years. I'm not sure if it's the same chef, but now that I appreciate good food, the dishes I had here ticked the box! We were the only ones in which reduced the atmosphere. This place deserves to be full - fantastic food.
Updated!! In response to the owners reply. I am not and have never been a liar! I have no reason at all to post untrue reviews for any business. The pictures I took did not have a flash on. It was 9pm at night so obviously I had a light on but no flash! It seems they have a very negative response to every single person who has given them a poor review. Accusing people of being defamatory towards their business. Honestly, they would look better as a business if they admitted the food they delivered to me was abysmal and apologised. I don't want anything from them I was simply making people aware that this is what we received and to avoid it. I did also say that the Thai Red curry and rice was nice but unfortunately that was the only part of the order that we ate. As for it not being tolerated, what's she guna do? Sue me for saying her food is terrible and posting factual information? This is the whole reason I didn't call them, as I didn't want an argument but I will be ringing when I am free. I left this review on just eat but only the star rating was made public. I never ever leave reviews anywhere but the food we received was absolutely disgusting! No exaggeration. The photos speak for themselves. Was also told today by an ex member of staff that they make everything in batches, and then microwave it. I really don't know how people leave 5 star reviews for this place.
Absolutely amazing food and service. Went in on a busy Friday night and was quickly seated with our orders taken. Food is fantastic and great portions, I can highly recommend the Thai Green Curry with sticky rice. Can't wait to return and try more of their menu.
Delicious authentic Thai food! First time at the restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The food was amazing, I'd definitely recommend this place. Lovely staff who really take care of their customers. I will definitely be back!
Lovely Thai food. Visited before watching a show at the Theatre Royal. Nice selection of drinks and cocktails. We shared the papaya salad with chicken satay and honey spiced ribs. Starters were delicious, very tasty. The papaya salad was super hot. Would have been nice to have more papaya. Main courses were good, the duck in the red curry duck was very tender, though I prefer a thicker sauce. The coconut rice was nice. My sister enjoyed her prawn Pad Thai.
Helpful staff, lovely restaurant. Fabulous food, great atmosphere. Cotton white napkins , tablecloth & fresh Rose on each table all the lovely finishing touches make it a bit more special. We had great Cocktails. Will go again no doubt about that The restaurant was also cosy & warm . E . St.helens
authentic Thai food which tastes delicious. the host provides excellent service. the dongyum added coconut milk which makes its texture even better. the mango rice is warm while the mango is cold makes a good combination. the prawns are amazing. will certainly come again. the waitress is sweet.
