Ordered from here this evening, but arrived to be told it was cash only β I hadnβt brought my card just Apple Pay on my phone. Now, reading the reviews Iβm relieved I didnβt waste my money here. Wonβt be coming back β particularly after seeing comments about their hygiene rating.

Been a regular at Peking Palace but after moving we hadnβt had it in a while. I had the usual curry sauce and rice and my partner had chicken in black bean sauce. Even though I didnβt eat any meat - just curry sauce and egg fried rice - I ended up with serious food poisoning which almost landed me in the hospital. After seeing their 0 star hygiene rating Iβm not surprised and wish I had seen it before ordering.

We had takeaway so couldnβt comment on atmosphere but the lady serving was very nice. However, honestly canβt think of anything positive to say about the food. Everything was completely tasteless, the crispy chilli chicken had no chilli taste and the pork chowmein literally had hardly any pork although the tiny bits I did find were cut so finely it took a search and rescue dog to see them. And the chowmein had no flavour whatsoever. Husband thought the same about his choices too. Needless to say we wonβt be returning

Ordered chicken balls with satay sauce and a house special chow mein, the satay sauce had no flavour at all and was like a brown watery mess, the chow mein lacked flavour was pretty tasteless and all in all it was Β£14.80 down the drain. Poor quality food, worst chinese I've ever had, never again.

Love this place, especially their Crispy Hot Chicken dish. Nobody else can get it right, so I keep coming back to Peking Palace for it. They are friendly and welcoming too. Great little takeaway place.

terrible service. Multiple ocaisions they've been slow to prepare food, adg gave incorrect ETA's The last instance was the final straw. Was quoted an hour half ETA, two hours later call back told another half hour. Pushing on to 3 hours wait time, call back for again and they hadn't even started preparing the order. They clearly have huge problems in managing orders, and no amount of food quality can excuse the poor quality of service. To not even push the order through after the first call, and to blatently lie and say it's half hour away when they hadn't even started, is unforgivable.

I'm very fussy when it comes to Chinese takeaway because I grew up eating at some great Chinese restaurants with my family when we went out for dinner. So I'm very particular. Most Chinese takeaways are bland and do the box standard chow mein noodle dishes. However, Peking Palace do the crispy noodle dishes which is what I'm a huge fan off, and they did not dissapoint. The food overall was great, and the portion sizes were decent. I think I've found my new regular Chinese takeaway. Please don't ever change the quality of your food, I've waited a long time to find somewhere that could match up to my favourite one in South London!

Best Chinese takeaway in the area. Always prompt and polite service, very clean premises. Crispy shredded chili beef is the best I've had.

Always a Reliable Choice. We've been using this Chinese Takeaway for many years and never had a disappointing meal. Quick & accurate on the phone, pleasant service and food ready in about 20 minutes; Always fresh, hot and good. Portion sizes are large and prices seem fine to me. I can strongly recommend this place, call them up when passing Rayners Lane on the Met and your dinner is ready for collection as you pass the shop.
