Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch carvery. Lovely staff waiting on, great food and nice busy atmosphere. All 4 of us enjoyed it. We will be coming back.

Good points: the beef was nice, the turkey (it is a roll not the big bird you get in other carveries) was nice. The roast potatoes nice and the pigs in blankets nice. Bad points: the ham wasn't good at all. But the worst thing by far was the so called apple crumble. Take a look at the photograph. It was like someone had just grated some dry breadcrumbs and sprinkled on top of some hideous apples. There was no crumble part whatsoever and the apple filling was luke warm and runny. They may emptied 2 tons of cinnamon into the apples too. Horrific.

Amazing little pub! We've been there a couple of times now and the service had never failed. Great food, great staff, great prices, especially the 2 blonde guys on the bar (think one was the manager) as we were made to feel welcome and service was quick! The value you get for the money is unbelievable!

Found this pub on a walk during our weekend away and wow what a find it was. Very friendly and warm staff and an absolute wizard of a chef. Such an amazing variety on the menu, we were spoilt for choice! Went for salt and pepper chicken loaded fries, steak and the plough in special burger. The portion sizes were huge, it was absolutely worth the cost.

I used to really enjoy this restaurant but it went so down hill. I seen they had new owners so thought I’d give it a try for my Mother’s Day tea. It was fantastic everything was cooked to perfection also crispy spuds!!! We really enjoyed it. Thank you
