   This is a small Goan cafe situated in Hounslow Heath. The food here is amazing, a little too spicy for my liking but if I asked caters to your taste. I highly recommend this place to others. The chef Anthony Jacques is a great host and amazing chef and a delightful person. Had an amazing evening with delicious food will definitely come again. Price is reasonable for the freshness and the taste well worth it. Highly recommend +++++

   I cannot recommend this place enough. Love Goan food and Jacques Cafe will stand out. With their own variations of certain dishes when compared, like every household will have a distinct spin on a recipie and hence will have to keep coming back for more..

   If someone commented saying that this place serves authentic Goan food then they don’t know what authentic means. I went with my friends and family to this place and it was total disappointment. Whatever you order it had 3 things in common: overcooked, excessive amount of salt & spices and not Authentic Goan at all. The salad which was served was not fresh it was prepared at least 2-3 day in advance. Recheado masala used for fish was disgusting. Sorpotel tasted like having some random pork curry and fish platter was total waste of money. This place is very congested and cannot even seat comfortably as their regular customers who come to this place with their own alcohol like to spread themselves all over the place. This was my first and last time to this place and I would not recommend this place to anyone who knows how Goan food tastes as what is served over here is not Goan food tastes like. whoever is looking to enjoy Goan food with their family STAY AWAY FROM JACQUES CAFÉ

   So happy we went there, excellent Goan food. Croquettes, choris pao and xacuti were on point. Portions could be a little better. Spices etc. all come in from goa, so very authentic. Great atmosphere. Got to speak Konkani again, enjoyed it ❤️
