Great Place, for a bite to eat, got a great menu which will suit everyone's taste, the staff are really helpful and the whole interior of this place is beautiful, especially Christmas time. Clean , tidy and a pleasure to spend time here. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible . Wether your looking for a meal or just a drink , well worth a visit
Lovely cosy atmosphere, I came in at 4pm so it was very quiet. The food was lovely, I had a Korean chicken dish, and the clementine tart. The service was spot on, Tash was really attentive, friendly and helpful. Great value considering the quality.
Enjoyed our Sunday lunch. The menu choices were good, the kids menu especially was a very varied. Excellent desserts. Food was hot and delicious. Service was quite slow, but very friendly. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Nice and clean.
We came across The Stanley Gate by accident, was looking for somewhere to have a Sunday roast & popped in. Pub is lovely inside, Caz & the other staff were friendly, helpful & served us really quickly. Nothing seemed too much trouble even though the place was quite busy. Sunday roast dinner was lovely, neither my wife nor myself were able to finish the dinners, they were far bigger than what they looked & all freshly made. Still had room for pudding though, which was equally as nice, will definitely be going back. Many thanks.
Decent Chef&Brewer pub. Looks a bit tired outside. Could do with a lick of paint. Interior is fine. I'd probably score our Sunday Lunch 7/10 so was OK.
I was so gutted that the meal I wanted was Sold out, but this ended up being a blessing in disguise. My alternative I had rib of beef was out of this world, so tender and just fell off the bone, the roast potatoes were crispy and fluffy inside, the veg cooked just how I like it. The staff (front of house Katie I think was really helpful) ordered extra gravy that was no problem and arrived in no time.
Great value. 7 hour slow cooked rib of beef delicious. Don't bother with sides, you get a large portion.
Excellent food. Freshly cooked to perfection. Excellent beer garden if you want a nice place for date night or impress on a first date look no further large selection of wine and spirits. But the food is sublime
We had an excellent meal here today, we were all very impressed with the food, the staff were very attentive and professional I had the homemade steak pie.. Very Yummy.. Can't wait to come back...
