Wonderful festive meal. Lucy was one of the best waitresses I have ever met. Very attentive - always there when you needed anything but not intrusive. Delicious gluten free meal.
Had both the festive and normal menu meals. Both were fillet steak and I had the 10oz option. Starter cheddar mushrooms were excellent, mains exceptional, desert was very nice. The whole experience was easily five stars but the best element was the first rate service by Anna. She is a credit to M&C Aughton. Thank you Anna.
Went to the Aughton Miller & Carter for lunch, very much on the spur of the moment. It was our first visit and the atmosphere was very cosy and welcoming. We had a delicious meal and our waiter George was very attentive. Overall a very pleasant experience, I will be back
Had the most amazing evening in miller and carter in aughton. How the lovely Lucy kept up with the menu choices was beyond me. We had a choice of festive, Xmas and a la carte and ordered from them all so goodness knows how she did it. Hope she’s here when we come back which we deffo will xxxx
Massive carpark, easy to get to from A59 Checked in at the bar and given the low down on the information Room(5) was a good size and the shower room too Good WiFi, comfortable bed ,two things i picked up on was no suitcase stand not a fan on put case's on the floor! And the second was a strong strange smell in the shower room! Evening meal was excellent lots of choice but being a steak restaurant not much in the veggie option a tad on the pricey side but its to be expected! Breakfast not included. Nice back roads for walking and running Would I stay again and recommend YES.
What an amazing lunch we had on Sunday. The food was perfect and the attention we got from the wonderful staff just made it even better. We weren't rushed although it was very busy, we had a lovely relaxed lunch. My steak was cooked to perfection I might add. Just how I like it, and the taste of WOW
We were looking for somewhere local serving late lunch on a meal deal.could not have been happier.great staff especially helpful with 95 year old with mobility problems. The menu was not too extensive but with varied selection. The food was excellent for the cost. Please don't make future prices prohibitive. Really made us want to return for an evening steak meal.
Dined here for lunch today for the first time ever and all I can say is wow and I will definitely be back. All the food, the drink, and especially the waitress was absolutely outstanding. Went the extra mile as it was my mother in laws birthday with her dessert (see photo). Would highly recommend the black forest gateau ( my favourite dessert in the world) you will not be disappointed in anyway shape or form. Can't wait for my birthday meal now.
