Decided to dine here today for a bit of nostalgia, where my wife and I met, of course they didn’t serve food 50yrs ago. Pubs still warm and friendly as I remember it. We had a amazing roast beef dinner, superbly cooked with plenty of vegetables. Definitely return.

Absolutely wonderful little pub set very much in suburbia. The outdoor seating in the front as we entered was being well used with TVs up for football etc. The barman was very friendly as were the locals inside. And when the sign above the door says 'Mind your head', mind your bloody head!! It hurts!! Anyway, the Guinness was superb as was the Surrey Hills brewery Ranmore.

It’s just a really solid classic English pub. Lots of screens playing the football, including outside. Good atmosphere, dog-friendly, interesting layout with the saloon bar. Dart board too. Drinks are reasonable (4.90 for a pint of ale), at least compared to what you’d be paying down the road at The Foley or Hare and Hounds. Friendly vibe from bar tenders and customers alike. Never eaten here so can’t comment on the food, wouldn’t expect its anything to write home about but prices look reasonable. Need more of these pubs.

The Sunday roast was mediocre. At Β£17 I would have expected better quality so a disappointing meal. The Surrey Hills ale was good.

Could be nice pub but the people running it are not nice and rude, thinking than everyone else are wrong but them. Service is very poor. Do not recommend it to anyone

Just popped in for an afternoon pint. It was friendly, attentive service with exceptionally comfortable outside seating at the front of pub. Decent beer also. Would recommend.

Charming traditional pub with a real fire, friendly doggies and great food. The people who run it seem lovely as well. Off the beaten track but definitely worth seeking out.
