We came here as a party of 14 family. I pre booked our table. We ordered a wide variety of food and drink. Everything was served with a smile and everyone was very happy with their meals. Most of us had desserts too. The menu is reasonably priced. It was busy but this didn’t affect the wait time for food.
We are quickly becoming regular visitors at The Crofters Arms. On our last visit on Friday evening (21st November) a family group of us went after reserving a table for 7 guests which was ready for us when we arrived. We ordered a variety of different meals and all arrived at the same time. The food was excellent and great value. We especially like ‘Fish Friday’ you can’t beat 2 meals for £13.50. Also recommended is the Curry House Feast . Really enjoyed the atmosphere with added bonus of live music. Thanks to all the friendly and helpful staff.
Our family get together on Sunday was made extra special by Wendy who looked after us by going above and beyond. We felt like she was one of the family as she even offered to help with mum’s meal as she’s not in the best of health. Thank you so much Wendy you made our day out very special xx
Visited here on the afternoon of 14-10-25 as a group of four, we purchased 3 mixed grills and a hunters chicken. The mixed grills were disgusting with extremely overcooked gammon and chicken however the steak was actually cooked as requested but chewy and tough as hell, the hunters chicken was also poorly cooked and resembled slop. The young lady that served us during our visit (sorry never got her name) is a real asset to your establishment and we all agreed not to complain about the food simply because she was a superb host and made the visit really pleasant. Two of our group had visited here on other occasions but never on a Tuesday and say the meals were much nicer then, maybe you had a different cook when we visited? 5***** for the excellent staff member 2** for the poor food.
Wendy always minds me in the crofters , kind friendy accomodating staff (even when I have my messy toddler) We're here on a Friday evening with the live music , ambient lighting and 2 mains for £13. Happy days

Went on Friday food was perfect probably the nicest food I have had out of a pub. I got the steak & garlic prawns it was gorgeous! Their hash brown starter is amazing. Hats of to the chef.
Staff nice and friendly. We had a good meal, decent size portions. Got 40% off which is very welcome. Nice experience.
Sorry meal was ok when it finally arrived but had to wait 55 minutes for it with no notification or apology. Had we been told it was a 55 minute wait when we arrived we would have gone elsewhere. Also it was not that busy - shame really as the food was nice and hot when it eventually did arrive. Let down by.poor slow service with no information. Will not go again - first time returned since lockdown back to The Stanley Arms for us.
