Exceptionally friendly staff. Know before you ask that you need the kids meals asap, and they are so kid friendly. Food was excellent, shish chicken, lamb burgers and kids carbonara all very tasty. Good value for money, lovely atmosphere and the best, most relaxing place to eat with little ones included in the family friendly atmosphere
The food here is delicious and the service was exceptional. Eating out with a toddler is never easy, but the waitresses were so lovely with him and brought his food and drinks really quickly so we really enjoyed it. We were a big group and they sorted the bill by family which made everything so much easier. We’ll definitely come back — really recommend for big groups and families.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Vibe & Delicious Food at Al Dente! Had a brilliant mid-afternoon lunch at Al Dente on Lark Lane—what a vibrant atmosphere! It was buzzing, which is always a great sign. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience a pleasure. For starters, we had the Hummus and Bread. It was a very large portion—maybe a little rustic in presentation, but certainly tasty! The star of the show was my main: the Falafel and Halloumi wrap with yoghurt and salad, served alongside sweet potato fries. It was absolutely excellent and the portion size was spot-on. They have a great selection of competitively priced wines too, which is a bonus. The only tiny blip was my pint of Guinness being a bit short-measured even after asking for a top-up. Overall, though, I was really impressed. The value for money is excellent for the quality of food and service. Definitely recommend stopping by Al Dente!
The food was spectacular: fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and a presentation with great attention to detail. I want to give special thanks to Carmen, my waitress, whose service was kind, attentive, and friendly. She was always attentive to every detail. You can tell she loves her job and conveys that passion in her service. Definitely, Aldente is a place I will return to and one I recommend to anyone looking for good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and first-class service.
Al Dente Restaurant We had dinner at Al Dente last night, and I highly recommend booking a table in advance, as the restaurant is quite popular. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, with a lively yet comfortable ambiance. Food & Drinks The menu offers a great selection of dishes. I ordered the sirloin steak (medium-rare)—it was flavorful, though slightly chewy in some parts. We also tried the lamb with mashed potatoes, which was incredibly tender and full of rich flavor. For pasta lovers, we sampled the Carbonara—delicious, creamy, and very filling (we couldn’t even finish the whole portion!). The shrimp pasta was equally tasty and satisfying, making it a great choice for seafood enthusiasts. Service & Overall Experience The service truly stood out. The waitstaff were attentive, polite, and knowledgeable, helping us choose dishes and making sure we had a great dining experience. Their attention to detail added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. If you're looking for a delicious Mediterranean dining experience in a warm and welcoming setting, Al Dente is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
What a lovely place! Excellent food and vibe, but what made us feel so good was Mr Ibrahim, who served us professionally and was friendly at the same time. We'll definitely come back again ❤️❤️❤️
Lovely place for lunch. Not quite fully Italian as other food added. Pizza was excellent, and they knew how to cook pasta. Calamari delicious. Service was excellent and very friendly. We were seated in a booth that was very comfortable.
Staff is friendly , nice vibes and decorations. Foods are amazing . Service is great , although, they did by mistake gave our order to the next table , but the explained to us .. I like to be honest … I recommend the garlic bread with cheese and the Tom hock , are really delicious. Tiramisu is amazing.

A lovely restaurant with friendly staff that made eating here an absolute treat, I'm quite a closed minded and simple eater so I was pleasantly surprised when I found my meal was basically perfect to my wants. I noted that the prices seemed very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of the meal. If I was local and was meeting someone for a nice meal I'd definitely consider Al Dente.
