   We had a lovely meal here. The food was very good and tasted wonderful. We didn't book but found they had space for us despite being quite busy. The service was great too. Will definitely come back.

   We stayed at the Premier Inn whilst visiting with family recently and ended up coming into The Mill several times during our stay - partially due to it's proximity to the hotel, but mostly because we discovered we loved the atmosphere in there and the service. Sadly, we didn't get to eat dinner there at any point (though family did and they had very positive feedback from it) but we did go in for drinks (alcoholic and not), desserts, and on our final day did have breakfast. Everything was excellent, staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed. Plenty of seating, a good menu, and loads of really cool stuff to look at on the walls. When we come back up to Chester, I imagine we will be back here frequently! (thought I had more photos but evidently was too hungry to take a picture of the excellent breakfast)

   Popped in after a delayed journey of 4 hours so not happy. Went in because next door to the hotel, Beers were superb from a brewery we don't see down south. Menu was good, food was excellent quality and would have expected to pay more for. If it wasn't all homemade it certainly tasted like it was. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful without being overbearing. So good we didn't bother looking to go elsewhere on our second night in Chester and it was just as good although mysteriously quiet on a Saturday night? So atmosphere different to the Friday but hey, if this pub was 200 miles closer to me id never be out of it. We hope to be back and will make a point of it if in the area.

   Very friendly staff, as always. I had the Sunday lunch. Everything was great, but, the Yorkshire pudding was slightly burnt - it left a bitter taste in the mouth. The beef was slightly overcooked. Yet, I still cleaned the plate.

   Having had a lovely meal a few weeks back we returned today to try the Sunday lunch. Wow what a fab meal and a great price. Proper Yorkshire puddings, great pigs in blankets and very filling. The best Sunday lunch we have had in a long time. The staff are lovely as well and very friendly. We will be back soon and recommend you to our friends.

   A really nice pub, ideal for when you’re waiting for your wife (across the road at the hospital) to push out another joy sucking, life leeching demon imp which you have to keep alive and feed. I’ve been here lots of times for food and enjoyed it every time. Really nice staff and the food is good honest pub grub. Parking is normally not a problem, you will need to get your ticket validated in side at the bar.

   Really good Location opposite the countess of Chester hospital. Very well kept, clean, friendly staff, reasonably priced, Food came out hot, and was really nice! They have music playing in the background which covers alot of genres.. Just becareful on the car. Park as it is a pay and display, I'm not sure if you get that back or if it's free for restaurant users as we went with an elderly relative and they have a disabled badge. Over all I recommend a visit as you wouldn't be disappointed.
