Popped into a local cafe as you usually get a decent sandwich for lunch instead of a meal deal from a supermarket, try to support local businesses. I ordered a sandwich on a barm and a can of pop. I was expecting quick service but the server said, 10 minutes as they were busy, I was in a rush but ok, it’s table service usually so not really set up for making food quickly, at least it will be fresh. Waited 10 or so minutes and was presented with a ham salad sandwich wrapped in cellophane and can of 7up free. £7.20. Wow. I know things have gone up but £7.20 for a smaller barm sandwich and a can of pop. I’m in shock. The worst part is it wasn’t even that nice, the lettuce tasted a bit off and no egg. Disappointing to say the least. The ladies were lovely to be fair and the atomsphere was nice, just disappointing with the food and price.

Lovely cafe in central maghull, the owner is a wonderful caring women who goes above and beyond for her customers, staff are friendly and always there if needed. Lovely place and dog friendly (they even give a cheeky free sausage for your dog), great prices and foods delightful.

If you're looking for a straightforward, no frills, tasty full English breakfast with wonderfully friendly service, come here. We stopped based on other reviews and they did not disappoint. The woman who took our order was very nice and cheerful. The food was quite nice - nothing bland here! And it was served quickly. The coffee and latte were good. Really good value for the price. The owner bussed our table at the end and we had a delightful conversation - always great to meet such nice people on a long road trip. Parking is easiest in the lot across the street.

Nice, happy and chilled place. Didn't have to wait long for my food. They also do afternoon tea here as well with looks like it would be good.

Visited yesterday with my Mum as it also has a toilet for customers which is handy if shopping in Maghull. Food was great and well priced. 2 ladies serving were nice and friendly. Its been recently refurbished by the looks of it but I've never visited it before so cant compare. It looks lovely anyway, nice and modern looking with decent space between tables. Spotlessly clean too and the offer to refill my teapot with hot water for free. We'll certainly be back.
