I had a great experience at The Telegraph in Putney. The place is beautiful and really cosy. The cappuccino was great, the wine and cider were excellent, and the Sunday roast was also very good. The desserts were delicious. The best part was the fish and chips, easily one of the best I’ve had in London. The waiter was awesome, he took great care of us. His service was friendly and attentive. I’d definitely recommend this pub to anyone in the area.

The Telegraph, Putney Heath SW15. What a find! In the middle of nowhere, with a rather inauspicious exterior, this pub has a spacious ground floor bar and dining area as well as a huge, galleried first floor too. Lovely decor and big interior plants everywhere. Fab beers (I had Surrey Hills' Shere Drop - an absolute banger). The food was top notch - beautifully cooked and presented. Big car park and plenty of nearby on street parking. All in all a really enjoyable visit...

I love this place. Such good vibes, a great indoor and outdoor space, suiting cosy and sunny evenings! Recently went for a roast. The vegetarian mushroom pie was really delicious, so flavoursome and rich. In my opinion, the veg left a little to be desired - both the carrots and the potatoes were a bit too hard for my liking. But still a good roast, and those I was with loved the beef. Also did a gluten free Yorkshire pudding!

Rumesh and the rest of the team gave us a very nice experience while we had our Sunday roast at the Telegraph. I can only recommend this place for family gatherings or even for a couple date. The meals are fantastic, they never let you down and they have a wide range of drink selection.

Every time I’m in the area I always make sure to stop by this pub! Atmosphere is incredible with their indoor and outdoor seating. Love that they are dog friendly with kind staff. Food is amazing as always and have the best puddings. Will always come back here!

At the halfway point on my walk along Wimbledon and Putney common is the Telegraph. I am fortunate that it is there as I am always famished. I stick to vegetarian meals generally and recommended the veg parcels, the soup and the chunky chips. There is normally a vegetarian main as well and it always looks tempting. The veg parcels are vegetarian dumplings served in a miso soup with ginger, mushrooms, red chillies and other assorted vegetables. It was delicious. It's nice to sit outside when it's quiet to eat my food. It's a pleasant environment inside. Well maintained and very clean. The staff are always polite and helpful. I'm very grateful that the Telegraph is where it is.

A great pub for any weather. The outside space is great for sunny days with plenty of tables. Inside is a lovely space for the other days. Fantastic staff that make your visit easy and pleasant. Great food. I had a squid starter, steak burger and cheesecake. Everyone in our group of about 12 was positive. I forgot to take more pics of the venue but am sure there are plenty here already. Defo worth a visit if you're in the Putney area.

Nice outdoor atmosphere and service. Sea bass was very nice. Lamb was way too fatty for my taste.

Very pleasant visit for a birthday lunch, food was excellent as was the service, there is a good selection of real ale all well kept and reasonably priced, inside and out is well maintained and comfortable ideal for either a meal or just a quick drink, staff are always welcoming and the atmosphere is great. We'll worth the visit.

Nice pub for Sunday lunch. Feels homely and has a nice fire. We had the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, roast pork and pigs in blankets. Sadly, today the beef tasted β€˜off’ to me (perhaps too mature) which neither of us could eat and the pigs in blankets were way too salty. Pork was great though. Was disappointed as we have been a number of times and it’s usually great. Did not complain, as the taste put me off trying anything else (and no, I didn’t have COVID). Giving four stars based on previous experience. Hopefully it’ll be better next time!
