   We absolutely love this fish and chip restaurant and have been going there for many years. The food is delicious, the staff wonderful - in particular the lovely Ella. The owner Sam is the kindest and most gentle man and we love Sema and Ben whom we have known for many years. We often joke joke about biting a table on an annual basis and often friends and family join us for dinner too. You will not be disappointed if decide to try it.

   If you ever find yourself near here with some money, spend it wisely here. I have been around the country, from York to Plymouth. Every single time I get a fish and chips, it has only been good. But this place was an exception! Excellent quality, excellent service. It may seem expensive, but for the quality of food, and the portion size, it's worth every penny. Every chip was light and fluffy, and you even get a delicious salad to break up the grease. We had fishcakes and cod goujons! Every bite was heavenly. The server we had was very accommodating and polite.

   I saw a TikTok Video of their fish & chips being prepared this morning and decided to try it out for lunch today. The premises is nice, clean etc. However, the food had no real flavor, the chips didn’t have that soft fluffy texture inside, the cod was fried well but still had no real flavor. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I imagined I would, I try out different fish and chip shops too, so I’m familiar with the taste and good quality. I paid £15.70 for regular cod and chips, the size was very generous and I did eat most of it but I can’t say I fully enjoyed my meal. That’s why I gave them 3 stars. 1st photo shows the meal that I finished and couldn’t eat anymore. The 2nd photo shows the meal before I ate.

   Decided last minute have Fish supper with my son. First time visit to the restaurant and it was packed. The owner was very welcoming and the both the size and quality of the haddock and halibut ordered were both large and excellent. Tried the set menu, which was great value. Waiting staff were polite and helpful. Food served fast. Highly recommend and will come back again soon.

   Food excellent. We almost always get takeaways as we are local. Has a nice enough restaurant to the side but we find the lighting too bright for an evening meal. Service and food taste/quality can't be faulted.

   Great place - fish and chips were really good, really fresh. Very friendly service, if you come between 12-5pm you can get there lunch menu which is really good value. Definitely would recommend and will be coming back here

   Went to this restaurant last night, whilst on a diet so didn't have many high hopes. Wow was I wrong. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I absolutely would, what a gem of a find. The service was great, the staff were lovely, especially a lady called Pauline for who nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was amazing, and the portions huge. Will definately be a regular place for me now.
