Being vegans, we were searching for places to eat and saw that the bridge had options. Ended up visiting twice in a week. We had the falafel burger and the vegan mushroom pie, both were great! Nice pub atmosphere and friendly service. We'll definately be visiting again!

The warmest of welcomes from a lovely team, amazing food and service, the building steeped in local history. Big special thanks to carmel for the fantastic service. Highly recommend and will be visiting again regularly. And looking forwards to using the accommodation side.

We called in for something to eat before we went to a show at the nearby theatre. Could not fault this place. As it wasn't too busy the main restaurant part was closed but... My wife suffers with anxiety and didn't want to eat in a busy bar area. The Staff where so nice and led us into the restaurant area. We dined completely on our own which was fantastic for my wife. The food was perfect and the service was so quick. Thank you so much We will be back....

Local area is beautiful an easy parking. The site is in desperate need of a refurbishment. I work in hospitality myself an it wasn't too busy but there wasn't anyone around to serve on bar for near 8 minutes. By the time we were served they were missing half the drinks on app offers and only had 3 drinks avaliable on pumps. Food was average but we only got 1 gravy boat between 3 roast dinner meals so had to ask an then wait longer for more. Will likely pop back in a couple months if improved.

Lovely warm atmosphere. Staff always friendly and attentive. More attention to dropped kerbs in the car park for wheelchair users. Other than that, the menu and food always delicious and served nice and hot.

The Young lady (Shannon I think) with the blonde hair and the pony tail was exceptional. I have worked in hospitality for 25 years and I can honestly say she very impressive. She was leading service. Acknowledged at the door while she was clearing tables with a smile. Managed our expectations and explained how the service worked. I saw her collecting an order from a table of 4, drinks, food and specific meal requirements with out writing it down. This would usually worry me... She then answered another customer inquiry and answered the phone before entering it into the till. Unreal! I've never seen this before. Attentive, friendly, intelligent! Well done! Genuinely impressive! 2x Gammon steaks cooked really well. Love coming back to the Bridge, keep it up!

Took Mum out today for lunch as it was her Birthday. We chose The Bridge Inn as we have been here many times & always enjoyed it. My own meal was a real let-down however. I chose the steak pie which i thought would be similar to others I've had in local restaurants. The pie itself was huge & covered half the plate, but the contents were dreadful. There were roughly 5 small pieces of the cheapest, fattiest meat inside with gristle attached. YUK!! It made me feel sick. The waitress service was very efficient & we were served quickly. We were asked how our meals were & i did tell the young girl waiting on our table that the pie was horrible. She was very apologetic, but it wasn't her fault. I said i didn't want any fuss, but she did say she would report it to the chef. I noticed a couple to the right of our table also ordered the pie & both left most of it on their plates. I will go back & eat there in the future, but i will definitely not order the same thing. My Eton Mess dessert was the best part of my meal & i enjoyed that.

I visited last week for some food and drinks with friends. The atmosphere was friendly and service was excellent. Our server Georgina talked us through the new menu in detail and was attentive throughout. She checked back a few times and always made sure we had enough drinks. Thanks for a lovely meal!

Popped in for a lovely meal last weekend. Staff were really attentive, especially a young girl called Georgina who really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be back soon!!
