   Absolutely loved Kiplings in Highgate! The atmosphere was amazing, warm, relaxed and full of good vibes. The food was packed with flavour and beautifully cooked, and the service from start to finish was spot on. The staff really make you feel welcome. If you haven’t been yet, go and try it, you won’t be disappointed!

   The lovely family running the place are extremely nice and hospitable. Not only is the kitchen fast, but their dishes are authentic enough to please people used to desi food at home. The interior decor is lovely, and calming. I highly recommend stopping by, I also recommend the garlic chicken.

   Nice food and good atmosphere. The food is really well-cooked and delicious. The lamb chops with the stone pots are my favorite. The atmosphere is really good—it's not too busy, and the furnishings are quite nice, all at a fair price. Recommended.

   I was passing by this restaurant & I stopped here with no expectations and was blown away!! The food was actually very very tasty!! We had the lamb tikka, hariyali chicken, tadka daal & roti & it was lovely !

   Kipling's continues to be one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. I visited with a friend after drinks and it hit the spot again. We shared a tandoori mixed grill platter which was perfectly cooked and I had Chilli Chicken Massala which is my favourite curry here. The Naan was soft with a touch of crispiness and our side of Bhindi Bhaji had been cooked until just before it lost the firmness, nothing like the mushy version you get elsewhere.

   I think I’ve probably tried every Indian takeaway in north London in the last decade, and this is my clear favourite. There’s a real flavour and freshness to the food that really sets it apart. Thank you very much to the restaurant for the consistently great food.

   No thrills food, brisk service, ok to bring children. Occasionally a fight in the kitchen spills into the restaurant, which doesn’t bother me. What does bother me is that the food I ask to take home with me (that’s worth saving, sometimes we don’t touch a dish as tend to over-order) arrives stuffed two or three different dishes into one container. Just discovered chicken tikka and sag paneer mixed together in a container my husband brought back last night (I didn’t go). In another container plain rice, pilau rice and half-eaten naan. I dread to think what’s going on in the kitchen when no respect is shown to the food they cook. Or perhaps to a customer who, they must think, like a pig, will just stuff their face with the blended mush.

   Great food, great ambience, great service with multilingual head waiter Ali ably supported by Kamrul, his two brothers and uncle. Really felt welcome. Will certainly return to work through a very varied menu which has something for all tastes. Clearly a lot of thought and effort has been put into it and the superb cooking.
