“Thursday Supper Night Super under-marketed and wholly tasty. We saw through a Facebook post that there was a supper evening and very happy that we booked All dishes were very tasty, beautiful presentation and obviously cooked by someone who knows food and flavour.”

“Absolutely superb. Food, service and atmosphere all spot on. It was great to be able to try a new dish for the first time (krapow gai kai dao) and I will be back to order it again. Very little wait times in service but also didn’t feel we were having our food thrown at us. Particular highlight when my girlfriend asked to add chilli to her food they asked what type. Very impressed. Ps the coconut water is a whole fresh coconut they cut open!”

“Came in with my boyfriend ordered 2 patties for a quick munch. I am usually intimidated by Caribbean restaurants as customer service isn’t always great. But the lady and the man in the shop running the place were so welcoming and polite and lovely and made us feel comfortable. The patties were gorgeous and hot and decently priced. Will only come here from now and can’t wait to try other food. Thank you ! X”

“Really, really lovely pizza in the evenings. Possibly the best in the Crystal Palace / Penge / Beckenham area? Don't let the front of the shop fool you, there is a lovely dining area in the back with a live grape vine covering the ceiling. With the peak summer evening heat and some Europop being played it was almost like being on the Mediterranean! Seems like they prefer people to book in advance, but they accepted our unannounced group of five, and we all seriously enjoyed our food. Definitely going back.”

“Lovely local café with loads of vegan breakfast options. We went for the vegan brunch platter with sausages, bacon, pancakes, fruit, maple syrup, jam and whipped cream. The biscoff frothee coffee was divine! The owner is very friendly and gladly discuss any alternative options so don't be shy! Free wifi and garden dining (currently closed due to refurb).”

Deffo be booking with her again. Easy to find shop - walkable from angel or 2 stops on the bus. The shop is clean and not intimdating at all !”

“A small but mighty team runs this gem of a restaurant. Delicious food and relaxed ambience makes this a perfect spot to meet a friend or two or have a date night. You might even want to do take away but then you’d be missing out on the warmth of their customer service. Would recommend and will be back.”

“Ordered some food for take away, first time ordering from here and was recommended by my friend that the breakfast here was really good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, as I wasn't sure what to order and what I could get as take away. We got the pancakes nutella and toasty mediterranean. The food looked amazing and tasted great, would definitely recommend it. I also overheard another customer asking for their eggs to be changed to well done and the staff immediately redid their egg for them without a moments hesitation, thumbs up from me. The cafe was very comfortable and had a welcoming environment. I even noticed a corner with a doll house for children to keep themselves occupied if need be. Edit: went back again for the Turkish sandwich and ice vanilla latte, such a taste bud delight”

“I first became of the Sea Breeze food at the Leyton Carnaval on 13th July. I was absolutely amazed with taste and flavour of the meal I had. On Friday 25th July I visited their establishment in Walthamstow with my brother. I We ordered oxtail, rice and peas with steamed cabbage. My brother got carried away, he ordered oxtail 3 boiled dumplings and steamed cabbage, his next choice was, Ackee.and saltfish 3 boiled dumplings plus one fried dumpling and a bottle of their homemade sorrel and ginger drink, he later told me the taste of the ginger was just right, while the fall-off the bone oxtail was delicious, and that he really enjoyed the Ackee and saltfish. I can attest that this establishment serve really tasty and delicious food, very flavourful. The Sea Breeze will definitely be my favourite place to eat even though I’ll be travelling from CannHall Road, E113NH. Thank you for such for the delicious food with perfect portions.”

“I recently ordered from Domino's at Norwood Junction, and I was really impressed with the service and quality. The pizza arrived hot and fresh, with generous toppings and the perfect amount of cheese. The delivery was super quick, even during a busy evening. The staff was friendly and attentive when I called to check on my order. Overall, a great experience with delicious food and excellent customer service. Highly recommend this store if you're craving pizza in the area!”

“This is a perfect place...buzzy trattoria style downstairs with a great bar, lively outdoor seating and a beautiful bar. And white table clothes, proper dining room upstairs. The front of house service is polite and efficient, the star is the food and it shines. The entire menu looks excellent. We had the homemade Ragu, homemade pasta, it was superb. We also ordered a picannte pizza which was expertly made, like you'd eat in Napoli. We also shared zucchini fritti and a side salad which were both well done. Simple, good food. This will become a regular. It's tops.”

Portion sizes are also really good and i would reccomend the chaat and paneer Makhani as well as the gulabi rani cocktail for those who drink! Prachi was super friendly and really helpful! “We were in London recently and we wanted to try somewhere different to the other places we had eaten at previously, and we were so glad we discovered Orient. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady who gave my girlfriend advice (as she doesn't like too spicy food) on some recommendations, and I was delighted to see that they done an extensive curry range (as some of the places we had visited in Chinatown previously did not have any curry's on the menu). The decor was very nice and the place was very clean. ALL the staff we dealt with were so friendly and they could not have been anymore helpful, and we were given ample time to browse the menu at their extensive menu range. The service was very quick. On our first visit I got prawn crackers and sesame prawn toast for a starter. And the main I chose a beef curry with Thai fragrance steamed rice. The beef was absolutely beautiful, it was thinly cut and was SO tender and perfectly cooked. The rice was perfectly cooked. My girlfriend got Spring Rolls for a starter, and for her main she got sweet & sour spare ribs, and she said it was absolutely beautiful. On our second visit I got a lamb curry with the Thai fragranced steamed rice and my girlfriend got Pork belly with preserved vegetables and noodles and beansprouts, and again it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Another thing I will add is we both got the Lychee juice, and it was lovely, and it went very nicely with our food, and we had not seen this type of juice at other places. And again on our second visit the staff were exceptionally friendly and the service again, very quick. We both were of the same opinion that the Orient will be our go to place for a Chinese meal when we are in London, and we both cannot wait to go back again and sample their delicious food again.”
