“A wonderfully friendly small cafe with inside and outside dining options. All 3 of us loved the food, we ate half before taking the picture. The portion sizes are good. Custom made sandwiches to order. The Focaccia is made on site and absolutely delicious. The other breads are ordered in from a bakery. They also have Korean and Italian cupboard foods for sale. We purchased a green tea seaweed pack that was reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and smiley, answered our questions about the food and you could see by their interactions with other customers, they have a lot of regulars.”

“I had the pleasure of visiting Happy Belly Cafe and Restaurant today, and I can confidently say it’s an amazing place to be! The ambience is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The food is not only affordable but of great quality as well. I indulged in their apple strudel, and it was simply delicious! The flavours were perfectly balanced, and it was a delightful treat. What truly sets this cafe apart is the owner. “I walk past this place daily and think nothing much of it. Sometimes I'll see it packed with school kids so I'd assumed it was just yet another cheap shop/restaurant. Well, I was wrong - I had my partner order me two burgers and a milkshake today out of pure curiosity and they were delicious, far better than the other places on Brent Street. Also, the takeout packaging for the burgers, and the cardboard sleeve on the milkshake to prevent your hands from getting cold is a really nice touch! Will be ordering from here very often from now on.”

“We had our lab Christmas dinner at Pizza Pilgrims Camden and I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The food was excellent- the usual deliciousness and high standards from Pizza Pilgrims :) The team and the organisation of the dinner was exceptional, we were a large group and we were working with tight time constraints but they made sure the dinner ran to schedule, all dietary requirements were met and most importantly the dinner was really fun. “I was looking for an authentic Italian pizzeria to bring my Italian relatives. Dodici pizze has been a revelation. The menu is quite limited but can be adjusted to accommodate changes. Their pizza is delicious. The dough is soft, not chewey, and highly digestible. Napolitan pizza can be quite hard on the stomach, but this one was cooked perfectly. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The service was amazing, very friendly, attentive, and quick. We booked in advance and our table was ready as soon as we arrived. We had aperitivo with Aperol Spritz, olives, and bruschetta. Delicious. Then we ordered pizza and desserts. We had such a great experience. We will be back for sure. Amazing place!”

“It’s an authentic Japanese food restaurant, good food with decent portion, nice ingredients used. The service of the staffs made me feel like i am in Japan. You can tell they put heart and effort to recreate Japanese dining and food experience to customers. The tableware they used are nice. Price is reasonable. “Read some good reviews and thought we’d try this place out. What a hidden gem in Wandsworth! Starters and mains were exceptional. Went for hot mains as it’s so cold outside. Service was impeccable. And very reasonably priced - we were amazed when we got the bill - would have been happy to have paid a lot more! Definitely will be coming back when the weather’s better to try out the sushi and the many other delicious sounding items on the menu, which was extensive. Now up there with our favourite restaurants in the area and no hesitation in recommending! Well done to the team!!!”

“Genuinely a really lovely experience at Reis Grill & Bar. Music not too loud, very nicely decorated, very lovely and attentive staff, and the food is to die for! The service was also very quick, but it wasn’t so quick that we felt rushed. I can honestly say it is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The only downside was that the food was so good I didn’t have any room for dessert! Thank you very much for a lovely evening.”

“Incredible customer service from the establishment. Despite deliveroo being terrible, I called up the takeaway and they sorted it out right away (without deliveroo involved). I would recommend ordering directly from them. Pizzas were incredible as well and came within 30 mins of sorting out deliveroo's mess. Worth the wait and definitely will be going back again.”

“Different from a typical High Street kebab takeaway but all the better for that difference - dropped one star on service but only because they were absurdly busy which is a sign of their popularity, which in turn is a reflection of their quality. Beautifully marinated and cooked chicken shish, oven roasted, best pita bread I've ever had and great selection of salad and sauces - plus what I can only describe as the best roast chips I've ever had. £11.35 for large chicken shish in pita. Will be returning without doubt. Kind of hard to mark a takeaway on 'atmosphere' - it was fine for the 15 minutes I was sat waiting!”

“We were a group of 4 adults and 2 young kids that visited Medlar for lunch on a Sunday. The décor did feel a bit formal but the friendly staff helped to create a relaxed atmosphere. They offer a price fixe menu of between 1 and 3 courses (with an optional extra cheese course), which felt refreshingly old school in this era of sharing plates that we all live in. Between the 4 adults, we tried out the crab raviolo and slow cooked rabbit starters, followed by the roast quail, calf’s liver and roast guinea fowl mains. For dessert we shared the tart tatin, crème brulee and warm chocolate mousse. The food was beautifully presented and quite flavourful as well. From the starters we tried the crab raviolo was the clear winner, all the mains seemed similarly good, while the tart tatin was an excellent finisher to the meal. I must give special mention to the kid friendliness of the place, as this is not what I expected after reviewing the published menu online which wouldn’t appeal to younger kids. They were very accommodating to our children and offered to tailor make a dish using any mix of items on the menu at a reasonable price of £20. On that note the service was a real highlight of our meal, all the staff we interacted with seemed so genuine and friendly. The bill for the 6 of us came to £414 of which £92 was spent on drinks. The set price per adult of £58 for 3 courses is a relative bargain in this part of town (note that the price does vary based on time of the week, even though very similar menus are on offer), even more so once you consider their very generous servings of complementary bread as well as the chocolate truffles after our meal. On the whole an excellent meal in a place with old worldly charm and with so many tempting items on the menu yet to be tried, I will certainly be back in future…”
