   As a Mexican, I was amaze by how chef Santiago recreated the authentic flavors and textures of Mexican dishes using local ingredients. I was even more surprised at how he was able to bring and transmit the type of service with kindness and warm that you can feel in any Mexican restaurant. Everyone was wonderful specially our server Miguel.

   Me and my partner had been wanting to visit Kol for so long, and I had extremely high expectations, honestly, the team totally nailed it! I can be quite critical when it comes to food and service, but everything was absolutely incredible. The team was friendly and kind while remaining completely professional. The food was out of this world. I personally loved the Short Rib Quesadilla, while my partner’s favourite was the Langoustine Taco. After dinner, we were moved to the Mezcaleria, where we enjoyed dessert and a couple of mezcals (the selection is stunning, by the way!). Will definitely be visiting again!!

   Absolutely stellar! I loved everything about this dinner. The meals were delicious and beautifully plated, and the staff were impeccable. A couple of honourable mentions: The broth at the beginning was great The tamales were spectacular. The coco dish legitimately tasted like coconut despite there being none there The scallops were amazing The amarillo (yellow mole with portobello mushroom) was THE BEST DISH. Wow it was great. Desert was also amazing and it had ants! Ants apparently taste sortof sour, like lemons

   Awesome styling and very nice staff. The dishes were almost all super interesting and original. Lots of unusual ingredients. The non alcoholic drinks were quite expensive for what they were. Also the wagyu upgrade didn’t feel worth it for the price. You’ll be perfectly fine without and and you won’t miss the best dish. Transitioning to the bar was very well handled and overall KOL was very fun, stylish, interesting and tasty. I had such a great time and recommend it whole heartedly!

   We recently dined at KOL and had high hopes based on its reputation — and in many ways, the experience delivered. The service was truly outstanding: warm, attentive, and well-paced throughout the evening. Special mention goes to the sommelier, whose pairings were thoughtful and added a lot to the experience. The presentation of each dish was beautiful — it’s clear that a lot of care and creativity goes into plating, and everything arrived looking elegant and inviting. In particular, Girasol, Chilmole and Estofado were excellent dishes both in presentation and flavors. That said, the meal left us with some mixed feelings. While the execution was technically strong, we found that many of the flavors didn’t leave a lasting impression. A few savory dishes, in particular, felt surprisingly minimal — both in portion size and in richness. We actually arrived not very hungry, yet by the end of the 3.5-hour tasting menu, we were noticeably hungry, which is something we’ve never experienced at restaurants with tasting menus. We did share with our server that we felt hungry before being moved to the mezcaleria, but unfortunately weren’t offered anything additional — which stood out even more after reading another review where a manager mentioned they’d gladly provide more food on the day if needed. The overall score 4 out of 5 among other thing is reflecting our perception of value for the price. Our sincere suggestion would be to consider adding at least one more savory dish to the menu, or perhaps offering 1 or 2 extra tacos to make one course feel a bit more substantial. It’s not the best feeling to leave such a carefully curated and beautifully presented dining experience still feeling hungry. Thank you for the care and hospitality throughout the evening.

   Very nice experience and lovely staff. Food was very tasteful and well balanced. The octopus was bit disappointing as it was tough and chewy. Love the wine choices, definitely unusual for a Mexican restaurant.

   Perfectly decorated place, lovely atmosphere and amazing service. In the plate the service is consistent but is missing some more details to really be astonishing. I might go back and try their short rib instead of the octopus.

   Incredible menu and brilliant dishes executed with Perfection. This is now my favourite restaurant in London. We chose the 9 course menu for lunch and it was just amazing. I really loved the bold and brilliant flavour profiles, but nothing overpowering the intended earthy and unique flavours . I cannot compare it to any food I ever had. It was brilliant! Thanks to the chef and the amazing staff , we had a wonderful time .

   The service was impeccable from walking in the door, to leaving and all in between. Finally a tasting menu that made me full! The flavours of all the dishes were so pronounced, but none of the ingredients were fighting each other. Food and drinks were all explained perfectly. Big thank you to Eduardo.

   We had been waiting to go here for a long time and finally got ourselves a table. It was soooo worth the wait. All of the team were so down to earth but so friendly and warm at the same time. The service was really relaxing but so attentive, which made the experience such a positive one. It had a relaxed feel to the meal whilst delivered Michelin star quality. The open kitchen added to the experience as you were able to see, hear and smell what was going on throughout the event. The food was unbelievable from start to finish, delivering on the true taste of Mexico whilst surprising and delighting at every opportunity with unique twists. Our table all had different favourite dishes, my personal choice being the secial squid dish. All round fantastic experience and would fully recommend. I'd be surprised if this isn't starred in the next 12 months.
