My favourate dishes are lobster rice，quail，fish stew and the wagyu.”

The evening began with a generosity that’s actually become rare in fine dining - an extra splash of sauce here, a little more wine there - no questions, no charge, and not in excess, but with the sort of intuitive hospitality that says, “We’re glad you’re here.” It wasn’t about selling a product, or ticking boxes of ‘luxury’ and ‘innovation’; it was about making an experience breathe. The chef’s attention to detail was everywhere, not only in the precise cooking but in the courtesy and conversation that accompanied it. He seemed genuinely invested in the pleasure of his guests, which lent the whole evening a warmth too often missing from Michelin-minded establishments. In short, Behind is a restaurant that remembers why restaurants exist at all: to nourish, to delight, and, if only for a few hours, to make the world feel exquisitely well-arranged.”

The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, exactly as ordered, and the accompanying peppercorn sauce was truly outstanding – a delightful balance of creamy and peppery. “We came here for an informal meal to mark my youngest daughter’s birthday who also happens to have some allergies. We were very compassionately taken care of and the service was completely impeccable. Great tasting swiftly served meals with good portion sizes. I would recommend anyone to experience Antika with its cozy ambience and service. Everything from the Lamb chops to the lamb shanks were wonderful. Also the food was HALAL! The whole family enjoyed the experience, thank you once again to the staff.”

“The House has become a regular stop for me in Finchley. Food is delicious and service is friendly and attentive, makes you feel like family! My regular dishes include the Chicken Milanese and Lasagna. The Chicken Stroganoff is also worth mentioning, as well as the Seafood Pasta. Overall delightful atmosphere, worth the trip.”

“Really good food and not snobby at all. The flavours and produce are fresh and so tasty. I loved the soda bread and cheese soufflé nibbles before the starter, and wish there was more of it. The desserts are great too, which restaurants usually don’t do a good job of. This is one of the few places where I have had a 3 course meal with an aperitif, a drink with the meal, drink at the end, and a tea/coffee, and felt that’s it’s all worth it! Best thing is that you don’t feel stuffed by the end, just perfectly satisfied.”

“I’ve recently discovered Cremma as my new coffee stop and I can’t recommend it enough! Everytime I walk in, I’m greeted with warm smiles and friendly hellos from the staff. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and valued. A special shoutout to Ella, who is absolutely the best – her kindness makes my visit even more enjoyable. I was even offered a complimentary cake on one of my visits which was simply divine! Each cake tastes little piece of heaven, it’s impossible to choose just one favorite. The coffee here is absolutely fantastic and the food on offer looks just as amazing too! Whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee, cake or a leisurely meal, Cremma is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some excellent food and drink. I Highly recommend!”

“Was fortunate enough to get a last minute dinner reservation at the counter, which was a great experience! The restaurant is a short walk from Old Street station. Nest offers seasonal menus and my visit was during Beef Season. Unfurling the wax-sealed menu revealed two set menu options, the short menu or longer signature menu, which I went with. A wine pairing is available however I chose my own drinks. Over the next two hours I was treated to eleven courses of incredible cooking. Despite being Beef Season the menu was interspersed with some seafood and vegetable items as well, although they had found creative ways to incorporate beef in many of the courses. I enjoyed all the dishes but some of my favourites were the tempura oyster with bone marrow mayonnaise, the sirloin carpaccio and Highland beef. Sitting at the kitchen counter added to the experience, you could tell the chefs were passionate from the way they worked together and the way they explained each dish and how they had made it. To drink I had a Nest Negroni and a glass of Slovakian red wine, both of which were excellent and served promptly. The drinks list is extensive and will suit most tastes. Nest is in an area with lots of competition and certainly holds its own. It was a great meal and I would love to return to try another season!”

“I don’t know how this place doesn’t have more reviews because this place is amazing. They have amazing service very kind and welcoming. I travel from the US and I probably would say this is the best service I’ve ever received and I eat out a lot. I recommend the biryani and their Peri Peri chicken is so good. I promise you will not be disappointed. This will be one of my go to places going forward God willing.”

“This was my first visit to this restaurant which was chosen by my client for a business meeting because he is vegan. There are more Plant Based options on the menu than not and they all looked / tasted great. For those of us who also eat meat, I can say the venison was spectacular. Both of us left having truly appreciated a fantastic meal. The venue was perfect, great location in a sophisticated part of town and the ambience was well judged. It's not the biggest restaurant but there was enough space between tables to have discrete conversations without concern. As a further vote of confidence, I will be visiting again in the new year with my wife... AND DOG :) Sean, our fantastic waiter positively encouraged me to bring our dog. Table 6 is probably best if you bring your furry friend because its a little removed from the other tables. I'm looking forward to my next visit - thanks again for the great service Sean.”

The portions were healthy and delicious, with lots of flavours going on. I had the Mixed Grill, and my partner had the Chestnut Plov. “We went to Mori on a whim whilst visiting Slough on a short break. We had a long day and we wanted something close by to the travel lodge we were staying at. We picked this restaurant without looking at the reviews and honestly I can hand on heart say this has got to be the best meal we’ve ever eaten. The food quality was out of the world. It was fresh, well presented, and the flavours were to die for. We had starters, mains and a dessert and genuinely we can’t fault a single thing. The atmosphere was so calming and peaceful and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The chef preparing the food with everything in view was fantastic. We HIGHLY recommend this place and if we didn’t live so far we would be back again in a heart beat.”

“I visited this restaurant during the second lockdown for takeaway service. I felt very welcome and found the restaurant clean. The staff were very attentive and there is always a wide range to choose from. I will particularly recommend their grilled fish range!! Their salads are lovingly prepared and looks, smells and tastes healthy. There range of smoothies are also great! Especially the detox range. It's a nice eclectic mixture of the Middle East, North Africa and Modern healthy cuisine. The cherry on top was a free falafel I was asked to taste and I swear, I have never tasted such a delightful falafel! I will never go back to the supermarket bought ones for sure! Highly recommended.”

“The menu, all written in French (proof of quality!), is well balanced with choices for every mouth. The service has the perfect pace thabks to the great staff (also good as recommending wine!). The food itself is nicely cooked and presented, slight down point on the sides that would benefit from more attention (I went for the vegatables medley). Prices are adequate, especially when compared to London. A must go if you are after a good fine cuisine restaurant in the area!”
