As many others have said, this is up there with consistently the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. You could order a bottle of water and nothing else, you'd still be asked to park up for them to bring out a still Fanta
This is hands down the worst McDonald’s in the country, at least 95% of orders are wrong, no exaggeration, seems to be in every McDonald’s but this one is a complete joke. I would strongly advise everybody to check everything at the window when food is given. Macdonalds need to get booked in for training in KFC so they can see how things should be done. Complete farce
Poor service. Cold food. Penalty charges for paying customers on the car park! Stay away. Took my son and his friends for birthday Maccies. Overstayed our paying customer welcome and got a parking fine! Shocking by McDonalds.
It’s McDonald’s. Good sized place, conveniently located opposite a major super market on the main road through Formby to Southport. It’s nothing spectacular for food or drinks and the coffee is passable but you get what you pay for and kids love it. It’s a great place to stop on your way to Formby beach to use the facilities and pick up some food.
Slowest service in history. Have had faster service in sit down restaurants. Hardly anyone here. Stood here watching while bloke preparing food keeps rubbing his eyes and nose and then handling the food. Seems zero concern to get any orders out at all.
The car park was littered with rubbish, the bins were not full. Counter services were nonexistent for the best part of ten minutes, the shop floor felt grubby and neglected just as counter order service. Lots of boxed fries ready but not being served in a timely manner. When the food finally came to the counter the service order number was incorrect and took extra time to collect order. Food was all nearly cold when consumed on return to the car. McDonald's has got very complacent with its food quality and service now they have a generation of customers hooked on their food products.
Poor and rude service by staff. Burger only had 1 slice of the bun on. Refused to give me a straw for a milkshake only gave me one when I complained. Cleaner was rude to us while we were eating by telling us to hurry up so she could sweep the floor. Definitely not using that place again.
Went in to order a wrap and a coffee. Very quiet in the restaurant but still had to wait over 15 minutes and had to ask staff how much longer! Staff wandering about aimlessly. No sense of customer service or urgency. Is there anyone managing this place? Seems to be staffed by teenagers having a laugh.
Arrived at drive through, placed order at screen very quickly. There were only about 4 cars in front of us after that. I have not moved and been stuck here for 20 minutes?
This store always manages to get something wrong. Today, I did an app order then went in store to collect so I could get help if it was wrong. No one monitors the till area, so it took some effort to get anyone's attention. After 15 minutes of no food, and after 5 minutes of the screen saying it was ready to collect, an employee saw me and said he would check. He didn't come back. A second employee came and she did check. Food when it came was standard quality. Honestly don't know what's happened to this store. It never used to offer such poor service. Is it lack of staff, poor management? The staff are mainly young so I don't want to give them a hard time. Hopefully management will improve.
