Could be a lot better if they had people to clean tables but people just keep moving the trays around from table to table. And also can't understand why they run out of glasses so you can only get a takeaway out cup.
Came in today with my mum & sister & my 9 month old baby girl! They wouldn’t even warm a dinner up encase it went too hot & I gave it to my child, but then provided me with boiling hot water? Haha! Don’t know how you work that out but will not be visiting again! The girl her self was pregnant so I hope she struggled to warm her little ones food up when it’s born
I don’t normally leave reviews for coffee shops but this Costa has such a nice vibe I felt I had to. The cafe area was clean, behind the counter looked very clean and well organised and the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Thank you, I really enjoyed my first maple hazel latte of the season. Latte
Not really any atmosphere, but that's not really costas fault. Good coffee, sandwiches aren't great, but fill a gap. Cutlery wasnt very clean.
Good staff, typical costa food we’ve grown to know and love! Close by to the Broughton shopping centre toilets which are some of the best in any shopping centre I’ve been to. The only negative is the fact sometimes it’s closed hours before it’s meant to be closed, the door used to say it closed at 19:00 but it was closed sometimes before 17:00, possibly short staffed? Maps now says it closes at 17:00 so maybe they’ve changed their closing times and solved it.
Always friendly environment, consistently good food and drink on offer. Stocks M&S sandwiches and a few other of their products besides their own. It does run out of items later on at times, but this only proves how popular it is to all visitors to the shopping park.
Update: Still appalling. Nothing has changed. Kicked out at 4 not 7 as per website. Dishwasher not working. Card machine not working. Oven shut off at 3:40 so it had time to cool down before cleaning. All, and I mean all, customers asked to leave at 4 precisely. The staff's entire aim was to ensure the place was closed at 4. This situation has been talking place for the last 3 weeks apparently. Truly awful customer service. Complained to some young lady who clearly couldn't give two coffee beans. Avoid at all costs.
Usually really enjoy going here but just lately it's not been a nice experience. One of my trips recently the staff literally came over and told us we had to leave as they were closing at 4pm and don't even get me started on the broken dishwasher, paper cups, broken card machine. Some of the staff are lovely but there are a few that couldn't give two hoots! The way it is at the minute I wouldn't recommend.
The Costa itself was clean and served a good selection of food and drinks. The coffee I had was hot and tasty served with a fresh cake. However, the store itself gets very packed and it can be difficult to find a table. Several customers ended up standard with a try waiting for a table to become available. Overall the service was friendly and the place looked clean and tidy. It was hard to relax with so many people, but you did get good coffee.
You could easily miss this Costa, just tucked away in the corner between WH Smith and Specsavers. However, a bit like a Tardis, it opens up to much more inside! Nice and clean when I visited recently, with good service, comfortable seating and interesting layout and decor. Unfortunately it does not have any outside windows to provide natural light, but still seems reasonably bright and 'open' inside.
