I had such a good time at Prezzo in New Brighton. It’s one of those places that feels instantly welcoming — relaxed, bright, and just the right amount of lively. The staff were brilliant from the moment I walked in: friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help without ever feeling pushy. The food was exactly what you want from a cosy Italian spot. My pasta came out perfectly cooked with loads of flavour, and the portion was generous without being over the top. The garlic bread was the kind you keep reaching for even when you’re full, and everything tasted fresh and properly made. It’s clear they take pride in what they serve. It’s the kind of restaurant that makes you want to linger a little longer, enjoy the atmosphere, and plan your next visit before you’ve even left. Five stars — great service, great food, and a lovely place to unwind.

I can't fault the food or our server. The prawns in the main were cooked well. Flavour profile was well balanced although a little spicy (which I like). However there was a problem with the rock paper scissors game 2 for 1 desserts offer. The dessert menu states that if we ask the server to play rock-paper-scissors and win then we get the offer. I won but after a short pause I was told it was best of 3, and subsequently lost. This is a misleading offer because the menu does not state that multiple rounds must be played. It is contrary to the Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and a potentially non-transparent term/not as described contrary to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where terms of an offer are ambiguous, it is the interpretation most favourable to the Consumer that is enforceable. Additionally, terms that are altered after accepting an offer are also not enforcable. I therefore ask, nicely, that the rule of 3 is made clear on the menu, and I ask that should we decide to visit again, that the offer be honoured retrospectively our desserts as the food was very good and we enjoyed our visit. The desserts were nevertheless very good. Very rich in flavour. Our server was friendly and the service was generally good.

Although a little pricey, the food was amazing & we didnt have to wait long for it. The offers were great & service by Andy was brilliant. All staff lovely, friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. A couple of minor issues with the bill & drink but these were rectified quickly. We will return.

We booked a dinner at 18:15 and was seated straight away. The ambiance is relax, classy, overlooking the promenade. We were attended by gentleman Dan. He took our order and the order came shortly. Food were hot and nicely presented. The atmosphere is so relax and not rushed. Dan helped us with the apps. He was so helpful and efficient. Will definitely come back.

We were celebrating exam results, and Prezzo New Brighton really delivered. The restaurant was bustling when we arrived, but we were seated quickly and although we were made aware that there could be a slight delay with the food, after we ordered we didn't notice any delays at all. All the food that came out was piping hot and absolutely delicious. We were able to have a very leisurely meal, no rushing from staff at all, and everything came with a smile. Extremely impressed and will be returning soon

We were shown to our table and it was 40 minutes before anyone spoke to us about ordering, no "we'll be with you in a moment" which is just common courtesy. They then said it would be another 40 minutes for food when they did eventually come to take our order. I felt really sorry for the waiter as he was clearly told by management to say they were understaffed but the restaurant was half empty and not even busy. The female manager on duty had absolutely no clue how to run the service that evening and even thanked us on our way out when we walked out without ordering anything! It's such a shame as the restaurant is in a lovely location but the service and attitude wasn't fantastic. Had the manager explained the wait times before we sat down we could've made an informed decision as to whether we wanted to wait. We will not be returning after this incident.

Called in for a meal with my wife in October 2021. Greeted with a very warm welcome from the staff, and especially Chris our waiter who was friendly and very helpful with the menu making some excellent recommendations. The restaurant was clean and safely laid out with a good amount of space between tables; with staff wearing masks and lots of sanitizer available. We didn’t feel rushed at any point, and the atmosphere was relaxed and really made for a good dining experience. The menu offered a good choice and was priced as you’d expect. I went for the calzone (my go-to when in Italian styled venues) and it was one of the best I’ve had – very flavoursome, a good size with lots of filling, and all the ingredients well prepared. We couldn’t fit in pudding, but several items looked very appealing. Also thanks to the above-and-beyond service from Chris, I’m also looking to hold my work’s Christmas party there! Would highly recommend, and we will be visiting again.
