   Fantastic meal, great value and lovely friendly service - staff really want to please and nothing was too much. The starters were delicious - arancini smelt lovely as it arrived at the table with perfect oozy mozzarella centre and king prawns were lovely in a delicious sauce with homemade bread. The mains - mozzarella and ricotta raviolli, and linguine with chicken and chorizo, both were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The garlic bread with mozzarella and pesto was divine. We will definately return and would recommend a visit.

   Extremely good restaurant. The staff, especially the Italian man, who i assume was the manager, were lovely and very welcoming. he was extremely helpful and was thorough when explaining the food; he was very polite along with the rest of the staff. the starters were brought out with only about a 10 minute wait, and the food produced was amazing and very well presented. the mains were lovely and were brought out in no time - everyone was full after this! this is an amazing restaurant and i have already recommended this to family and friends - will be coming here again!

   So happy to have a wonderful Italian in St Helens finally. Happily surprised by the excellent food and service. Raphael the sommelier recommended a gorgeous Chianti which we enjoyed with mushroom bruschetta with so much flavour! and mussels marinere, delicious and wonderfully cooked! We then had the prawn tagliatelle, if I could bottle the sauce I would utterly divine and lamb chops. Very tasty. The only negative was chunky chips and no french fries, if they added those it would be a 10 out of 10.Fresh, flavourful, well cooked and delicious. Terrific cocktails as well we had really nice Aperol Spritz's on a two for one deal. Really reasonable overall and service with a big smile. We will be back for sure!

   Great friendly service, good selection of draft beers, family friendly and the food is impeccable. The meat selection board to share doesn't dissapoint to start with. All round, great little restaurant. Definitely visiting again.

   Warm welcome from staff, we were seated straight away. Orders were taken promptly. Starters arrived after a little bit of a wait, but were very well presented and tasted good. Mains arrived about 20 minutes after we had finished our starters and the plates were cleared. Again, very well presented, good quality and tasty. Well worth giving the restaurant a try, only advice to the owners, food needs to be served a bit quicker.

   Amazing experience at Sorrento Bar and Italian- food was truly delicious! I love the vibe in this place, its an Italian paradise brought to the town. I had the linguine con polla e chorizo and it was so tasty I couldn't get enough of it. We washed it all down with the most exciting cocktails! Friendly staff which really made the night even more enjoyable.

   Extremely happy with food and service, nothing was too much trouble, amazing chef customised my pizza to my liking and tasted amazing! Tried my friend veg and was honestly the best veg I’ve had in a long time, such a lovely restaurant with fantastic service and great picture opportunities with the beautiful flower arch etc. Special mention to Ben the fabulous cocktail artist, can make all your classics and Italian specials, very authentic and the knowledge is second to none, Rado the manager was so welcoming aswell, made my friends birthday night so special and one to remember. Would 100% come again and recommend to all my friends and family.
