Staff can’t be bothered even looking at you when waiting at the bar, the drinks are weak 241 cocktails are poorly poured alcohol wise, the food is average at best. Silk Road is a better option!
We just had a joint 50th party upstairs at Franklyns and had a brilliant night. Would thoroughly recommend. 1 o'clock licence and no music curfew for the DJ, alternative drinks provided as requested, fantastic service on the night, all was great
Had my baby shower here and had such a lovely time! Staff were amazing and so attentive, they made the afternoon/evening such a great experience. Would definitely recommend Franklyns to anyone as staff were just so caring and helpful, thankyou for such a lovely day! X
amazing, rented this place out for husband's surprise 40th it was brilliant. the food was unreal and the staff were so friendly and helpful. we had a brilliant time here !!! thanks guys! laura
Food was unbelievably good. I’ve been coming here on and off since it first opened. The new pizza menu is probably the best food they have done. It’s easily the best pizza in Heswall if not the Wirral.
Attended an engagement party. Great time was had by everyone. Bar service was excellent.

Visited Franklyns for the first time last night with my wife. Towards the end of the evening there was an incident between 2 groups of ladies. I believe a handbag had been stolen, perhaps some other items too. The security team were a disgrace. They handled the situation appallingly, they were abrupt, dismissive and awfully rude. We were shocked. If a member of my team behaved like that towards a paying customer who had been violated on my premises then they'd be furious. I strongly advice you look at your staff, we will not returning. My wife wants want to feel safe whilst out, i suspect the lady who had her bag stolen wont be returning either.
Went in at 2pm.. Still not served almost half hr later... I could understand if they were busy but not 1 person in there. If you go take a hat, gloves, coat... its freezing in there.. Absolutely p.off I wasted a journey going to try it.. Should have took my daughter to the zoo.. Fumming
