My visit to Kervan Sofrasi – Southgate was a truly enjoyable experience, defined by authentic Turkish flavors, generous portions, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, the restaurant feels vibrant yet comfortable, with its lively décor and inviting ambiance creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The menu was extensive and impressive, offering a wide variety of grilled meats, kebabs, and traditional Turkish dishes. The lamb was tender and full of flavor, the chicken perfectly seasoned, and the meze selection provided a wonderful balance of freshness and spice. Each dish was served generously, reflecting the restaurant’s reputation for hearty portions and authentic taste. The drinks selection was equally appealing, with Turkish teas, refreshing soft drinks, and wines that paired beautifully with the food. Service was attentive, friendly, and efficient. The staff created a hospitable environment, ensuring that guests felt welcome and well looked after throughout the visit. What impressed me most was the combination of authentic cuisine, generous portions, and genuine hospitality. A visit to Kervan Sofrasi – Southgate is not just about dining, but about experiencing the warmth and richness of Turkish culinary culture. Verdict: Kervan Sofrasi – Southgate is highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Turkish food served in a lively and welcoming setting.

Visited Kervan Sofrasi in Southgate and had a great experience. The ambience was really lovely—warm, vibrant, and perfect for both casual meals and a nice evening out. The service was great too; staff were attentive, friendly, and made everything feel effortless. The food was lovely as always—fresh, flavourful, and well-presented. My first experience at Kervan has been amazing, I came for a graduation feast and I must say the food was amazing, cooked to perfection, the seating was great, a very spacious building with plenty of space. The staff were super nice and friendly. The only thing is parking, but Asda is just on the corner and if you come on a Sunday then you can park on nearby residential areas, but would be advised that you ask before you park in some areas. I will definitely be coming here again in the future

Had an absolutely delightful experience at Kervan in Southgate. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was top-notch – friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. There were plenty of staff constantly checking in to see if we needed anything, which made the evening all the more enjoyable. The food was superb – every dish was full of flavour. The starters were excellent, and the meat and vegetables were incredibly fresh and well-prepared. You could really taste the quality in every bite. We also tried the Sex on the Beach cocktail, which was nice, though it could do with a slightly stronger orange flavour – but that’s just a personal preference. The garden area is a real gem, perfect for a relaxed evening. It’s a lovely spot to unwind, especially during warmer weather. Parking isn’t a big issue – there’s space for two cars directly outside the restaurant, and Asda next door offers three hours of free parking, so it’s very convenient. All in all, Kervan is a fantastic spot with brilliant food, warm hospitality, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended – a true pleasure to dine here.

Second visit here, staff are friendly and polite. We were told that the seating inside had air-conditioning, so we opted to sit inside on a hot summer's evening. Little did we know that we couldn't feel anything and they just left the doors open, so that was disappointing. There were 5 of us, we ordered the hot meze starter and the sharing platter. It all came fairly quickly. We also got warm Turkish bread and salad on the house, but we ordered chips and houmous. All was lovely but towards the end, service was extremely slow especially when we were waiting for the Turkish tea, which is complimentary, not sure why, it wasnt too busy then either. But they were great in bringing the birthday cake out with a team of staff singing Happy birthday to the birthday girl. Beware that there are quite a few stairs around the restaurant. Overall it was a pleasant evening, would visit again.

Service is good and that’s it. Food was very bad. We ordered kebab and chicken with rice, sea bass salad and chicken nuggets for a child. The best one was chicken nuggets! Kebab and chicken were too salty. But the worst was salad for £15!!! I got a bowl with just normal salad with no dressing plus very stinky fish on the top! I just hope it wasn’t gone. I’ve never smelled sea bass that bad. My child stop eat her food because of that smell. Never ever order fish at this place. Waiter forgot to bring water as well. Overpriced place for this quality of food!!! We will not come back here.

Kervan is simply the best place in town for lamb chops and ribs. The food was excellent and service was equally good. We orders 3 dishes for the two of us and the order arrived in much less time than expected, which was surprising in a good way as the restaurant seemed quite busy. There are dine in areas outside as well as inside and choice of dishes is great. Tye waiters paid attention to us at appropriate interval. Food is halal for those it matters. Will surely visit again.

Went here for Fathers Day! Seems to be very popular, it was very busy. The restaurant is nicely done with good decor. The food was delicious. We ordered the meat and Meze Platter, Prawns and Feta Salad. We were however very disappointed with the service. We ordered the children food first, and it was the last thing to arrive - it took more than 1 hour just for a chicken sheesh and chips to be served, meanwhile our food has already been served to us. Our drinks came halfway through our meal, which again was annoying. No ice in the drinks, we had to ask for it. We also had to ask for our sauces. We then ordered Tea & dessert. 20 mins later I asked our waiter how long it will be and he then told us that they didn’t have the tea we wanted. They gave us an alternative, and because I then complained about the service we had received he didn’t charge us for the tea. I would have given this place 5 Star rating, but the service was probably the worst I’ve seen in a long time and honestly it was off putting as it did ruin our family meal out. My children were starving and we couldn’t exactly enjoy our food whilst they waiting for theirs. Still giving a 2 star just for food, otherwise it would’ve been a 1. We had Baklava and Kunefe for dessert.

5 starts isn’t enough. The best Turkish food I’ve personally ever tasted. The Kervan Special for £66 serves 5 people (adults) in my family easily. Please bring one to West London or better yet, outside of London in Surrey!! Kervan is a winner.
