   Love this place - especially here in York. Booked online a few days back to ensure seats as York has been overcome by Zombies who have all lost their minds . In the bleak Yorkshire winter weather, they devour anything that has any signs of Christmas near it . Regardless of how much anything costs i, n this state these crazy folk , don't give a damn . Anyways back to the restaurant...service impeccable, food excellent especially the garlic butter fries with cheese in top ... order them as an accompaniment to your meal , delicious... lovely ambience considering 5.30 pm and the Zombie folk were packed in the streets like sardines devouring the whole of York and anything that stood in their way . Lovely meal .

   Was a nice place to have a quick bite. We used a tastecard for a super cheap meal. And we had a nice table by the window. Food was average, atmosphere was average. Service was fast and location was great. Definitely a nice place to go for a quick cheap meal, but if you want great quality food, you might be disappointed.

   The staff on duty were amazing. We were seen to by Mat, Leslie and Reece. They were attentive and provided excellent service, not only to me and my sister, but (and more importantly) to my 3 year old son. They were patient, smiley and inclusive with him, taking the order for him (checking with me too to confirm) and including him in conversation. Mat even sat down with my son and interacted with him when he asked him to - this made a memorable WOW moment for him, and he left happy asking when we could go and "have tea at Mat's shop" again. The food was lovely, came hot and fresh with a reasonable wait time. The venue itself is clean and appealing, one of the more spacious restaurants in central York. We will be visiting every time we visit York going forward.

   Stopped for lunch and enjoyed the vegan vegetariana pizza and "pepperoni" pizza. They also do a set lunch menu which was really reasonable. The vegan pizzas were really tasty and I would 100% return! Lovely decor inside and the girls serving were really nice and friendly. Great customer service. We visited on a Friday lunch time and it was quite busy. They have lots of vegan/vegetarian options.

   Chain restaurant that does it well. Our waiter was fab, the food was generous and delicious the wine was divine and the ambiance was spot on. Would definitely return. Keep an eye out for deals as it can get expensive

   Not being able to eat gluten, dairy or eggs (intolerance, not vegan) I sometimes find it difficult to eat out. The waitress was very helpful, directed me to the allergens information and helped me make a safe choice. The food was beautifully presented, and very tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming. It was lovely and clean and all the staff we came across were polite and had a smile.

   The food and drinking were fantastic, but the service was not that good. It seems they were short on people when I came, so the ladies were in a hurry and it was hard to get their attention to order. I had the carbonara and the brownie. I forgot the name of the drink, but it was good!

   Went here whilst on holiday for my other half's birthday meal. Everything was absolutely fantastic. The food was phenomenal, served hot but the type of hot where you can still eat it. Our waiter was absolutely amazing and even gave us recommendations on what to go for when he realised we were struggling on deciding what to go for.
