“Had an amazing experience with friends, it was a challenging and stimulating game with innovative hidden clues! Fantastic fun for friends and would be great for family and couples too. The host gave a lovely welcoming and helped us out with little clues when we got a little stuck. Managed to escape in 56 mins and can’t wait to try the other rooms they’re developing. Would recommend to anyone in York to visit as its a great activity.”

“We used NightOwls for our wedding at The Hospitium in March. We had so many people come up to us during the evening to compliment our playlist, we told them it was all the DJ! Ahead of time we had a few requests and described the general music we wanted, we felt this was definetely taken into account. We had a great night and the dance floor was always full, would recommend to others”

“A great afternoon with an afternoon tea on a hot sunny Thursday afternoon. Great welcome by the tea at the bar, checked the reservation and started with a cold drink before afternoon tea and cocktails. Chatty team made the afternoon go by and a great chilled atmosphere to make the afternoon enjoyable.”

“My Daugher attended this Nightclub for the first time this month, she is a fresher at York Uni, she was a little anxious over all the talk about spikings, but she said the staff and bouncers were amazing all the drinks had covers and everyone was encouraged to look after each other, the whole atmosphere was very supportive and lots of fun she was there till very late. I don’t know this club but I can pass on my thanks to the management for how they have made everyone feel welcome and safe this week”

“Visited here as part of York Restaurant Week. That chicken mandi was unbelievably tasty, can tell the right amount of seasoning was used. I could see the restaurant owner adjusting the lights to enhance the dining atmosphere, which I find very nice. I also had a soup with a spicy kick to it. Like others have commented, I never tried Yemeni food so made it even better.”

“One of our favourite places for a boogie in York. Banging music, service us good. Only feedback was the toilets which were a state and could so with someone cleaning them up every hour. Whilst u understand its a late night pub not all of us are 18 and can't handle our ale so having a pee in a cleaner place is always appreciated”

“This is the best thing I've done in years. I've been promising to go and learn salsa for such a long time and now I'm regretting not doing it years ago. Trisha is an excellent and passionate coach, the group is of mixed ages with everyone so engaging and the social event is electric. No messing about though, it's full on but the one hour lesson goes far too quickly. If you've thought about doing this but are scared you'll be the one who stands out because you're the 'new kid on the block'... BRUSH THOSE FEARS ASIDE! We were all new once, and we all took that first step... but Trisha is the person to fulfil your dreams of being that ,'Strictly dancer'. Can't wait for next Monday.”

“A little cautious at first as there weren’t many people in but we were early and it’s Thursday. We were not disappointed. Thursday offer of £40 for a steak dinner and wine for 2 and it was really good. Great cut of steak, cooked perfectly, amazing sauce, chips to die for (crisp doesn’t cover it) and really good wine. Superb music too. If we lived in York we would be here every Thursday. Shannon our server was friendly and welcoming. HIGHLY recommend”
