Needed to book some tables for after an afternoon funeral gathering for 12 people or more at short notice. Friend had recommended the Harvest Mouse. James took booking and was very helpful and reserved extra tables in case we needed them. Orders for food came quickly, the bar wasn't busy so drinks also were served quickly. Plenty of choice on menu for light and full meals , plenty of side orders to choose from . Ideal for our requirements. Every one seemed to enjoy their choice of food. Staff were pleasant and helpful. No pressure to vacate tables as the venue wasn't busy at the time. Would choose the Harvest Mouse again.
Came in for food with elderly mum. She had fish and chips, which she enjoyed. For her, too many chips. Better to have too many than too few. I had the sirloin. A nice bit of steak and cooked to perfection. I asked if I could have salad instead of chips. No problem. I'd like to give a shout to Gwen who looked after us
Visited here 21/7/25 with my two boys, Monday evening it was quiet, but although there were only 10 people in there at the time there was just a buzz about the place, I ordered drinks first, the staff were informative, got informative drinks and sat down. They had 3 tv screen showing darts volume low, I ordered food at the bar, but you can also order by the app if you do wish.my boys played pool while waiting for the food, when the food arrived it was hot and tasted delicious we all agreed to pay it another visit very soon. Oh if your interested,I ordered two sirloin steaks peppercorn sauce and a side of onion rings for me and my eldest son. And 6 chicken nuggets sweetcorn with mash for my 8 year old , which came to a grand total of £ 32.50 roughly, roughly it was definitely £32 something, by far the cheapest food I have purchased in a long time. And yes I will definitely be going back
We went as a family last night for a meal and it was absolutely beautiful. They catered for all our needs food was spot on I really enjoy coming here for a meal with my family the pudding pics was from last time we was there as had to share a pic of how nice they were
Had a variety of different dishes, I opted for the 9oz Ribeye Steak cooked to medium.. It was amazing and one of the best steaks I've had in a while, as we're the other dishes.. Thank you to the staff at the Harvest Mouse for making my mums birthday extra special. ❤️
My first visit to the pub , but most certainly will not be the last . It was a really lovely place & the food was Exceptional along with really friendly lovely staff , can't wait to go back
New menu is really cool with a nice funfair vibe. I had the steak skewer. It was delicious, The steak was seasoned to perfection and the rice is really tasty. Will definitely visit again and maybe try one of the bigger dishes like the Flex mex. It all looked great. And the staff are so warm and welcoming. Lovely place
Visited the Harvest Mouse for the first time in years. Really enjoyed the experience. The pub is nice and clean and the staff are really friendly. Food was unbelievable and very good value for money. My wife and I shared the Steak challenge which was 25% off on a Friday so even more value for money. The lady there asked us if we'd like the leftovers boxed up which was very nice of her. Excellent service, Excellent pub. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
