Absolute bargain at around £12 for two plates of fish(cod), homemade chips and peas. Everything tasty. Excellent staff, friendly and efficient. Would recommend you try this pub.

Been under new managment for 12 weeks and boy, has it been turned around. One of the best places in Flint for Fish n Chips, and I do mean that. Proper homemade chips and beer batter. Great for a Friday afternoon tea and pint. Shame there no real ales available.

New to Flint and visited for food on Sunday. Sign outside states food served everyday. Reviews looked promising. Unfortunately, was not a very welcoming atmosphere. Apparently no food served on a Sunday and the waitress said I told them the sign needs updating. Not the cleanest of places, so probably a blessing in disguise there wasn't any food. Looked okay if going for a pint but wouldn't recommend with families, although the establishment also states families friendly. The place appears very clicky and I think you need to be a local person with years of having your feet in the door to be welcomed. Unless this is your local, I would not recommend a visit. After reading deeper into some more reviews regarding food, I'd completely avoid.

Fantastic family run local pub. Friendly and great food served too.

Food was good, reasonably priced and served quickly. If anything there was not a great choice of ales for me as a passing thru visitor but this place obviously was the local pub for the area catering to them.

Had a meal here with my son and daughter today. Lovely, friendly service. Delicious food for all three courses. The pictures of the chips do not do them justice. The New Yorker was really tasty and portion size was great too. Definitely recommended.

This should have been a day to celebrate the upcoming addition to the family. My daughter in law booked the venue and deposit paid.. should have known we were heading for trouble when they misplace the booking and the deposit.. 80% of order placed a week ago after they miracously found it, room "free" but you have to order a la carte.. this facility takes bookings for groups (ours was booked for 25 covers including 4 children). However this is where the fun begins, you are limited to a time slot, orders are not prepared when asked for, drinks served in dirty glassware, missing orders as they have run out of dishes.. the excuse.. staff come in at 12 and would not know we ran out and the clincher... We had another party of 25 yesterday and they ate everything - if you take party bookings it is the restaurant duty to have staff in early enough check stocks and communicate issues BEFORE starting to serve and then oops... Waitress was obviously not trained and was not the most communicative ... In all not impressed and will not recommend

Love food at the mill. Today I had the chicken lettuce and tomato sandwich toasted and salad. It was gorgeous.
