   We visited after booking a table for our family, which included young children. I genuinely debated whether to write this review, as I know everyone usually has the best intentions and that working in hospitality is far from easy. I truly respect small businesses and the people behind them. That said, our experience was unfortunately not the best in terms of service. Some of the waiters came across as short-tempered, avoidant, and at times slightly rude when we tried to place our food order. This was particularly frustrating as it involved ordering for our children. The food itself arrived quickly and was tasty enough. However, this review focuses more on the overall atmosphere and attitude of the staff, which felt quite chaotic. It appeared that only one waiter was responsible for entering all the orders into the system, which seemed like a lot of pressure for one person and may have contributed to the tension. The other staff members were slightly less grumpy, though still not particularly warm. One moment that really unsettled me was when one waiter became overly familiar with my child by pinching her cheeks. This shocked me and clearly made her uncomfortable. Unfortunately, in the moment — amid the general chaos — I didn’t speak up, though it stayed with me. They also removed the baby chair because "we were not using them" when they reached and took it away very quickly. We booked for our children in advance and it felt odd to have it taken away without even been able to respond. I dislike leaving even mildly negative reviews because I know these are real people doing demanding work, and I genuinely want to support small businesses. However, I felt it was important to share this experience, particularly from a family perspective.

   Strangest experience! Courses rushed, lack of attention from staff. Lukewarm food, mine was like a school Christmas dinner. 1980s drab decor, paper tablecloths and food! We had a good night as we couldn't quite believe what we were seeing and thought we had been teleported back to 1985. Staff don't acknowledge you when you walk in or leave.

   My wife and I dropped in for an early evening dinner and were delighted with the friendly reception and atmosphere. Great food and not ridiculously over priced. We will certainly try to visit again. [The photo is one of the Chef's Specials: Fillet Steak Rossini and strongly recommended.]

   Fantastic place! Amazing service and the pasta portions are mind blowing! I really didn't expect the size of the portion of pasta on a discount night which is Wednesday! We were a table of 8 and starters, main and desserts passing through the table very nicely! Thank you Andre's. Drinks were nice too! My wife love the pink gin and lemonade and we had pints of beer and bottles of wine 210 pounds for a table of 7 adults and 1 children with fantastic atmosphere! Not bad at all! I wish we can go to Andre's every day. Everyone should give it a try. Definitely the best Italian restaurant.

   Really impressed by Andre's. The food was excellent, a really good menu, and flavoursome food. It had a good vibrant atmosphere and the staff were really good too. We were a party of 8 and we were really well looked after by the great staff, and each of us enjoyed the great food. Can't rate it highly enough & looking forward to returning soon.
