Cafe Bonnane - Our Travelodge Stay Lifesaver! During our recent stay at London City Airport Travelodge (see separate reviews!), we ended up visiting Cafe Bonnane three times - which says everything about how good this place is, especially when you're avoiding hotel food! The menu is impressively large for a local cafe. Plenty of breakfast options to choose from, plus a great selection of sandwiches and other meals throughout the day. Whatever you're craving, they've probably got it covered, which made it perfect for our multiple visits during our four-day stay. The food quality was consistently excellent across all three visits. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to order - you can tell they take pride in what they're serving. The speed of service was brilliant too - food arrived in no time at all, which is exactly what you want when you're hungry and exploring London. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout all our visits. They clearly recognized us by the third time and were just as welcoming each visit. Great customer service that made us feel like regulars even though we were just passing through the area. They've got outside seating available if you prefer to eat al fresco, which is a nice touch, especially on decent weather days. The location on Booth Road makes it easily accessible and a convenient spot for a proper meal. Perfect for anyone staying in the area who wants reliable, tasty food with good service. After our disappointing hotel experience, finding this gem nearby was exactly what we needed. The fact we went back three times during a four-day stay speaks volumes! Would definitely recommend and return if we're ever back in the area. Sometimes the best discoveries are the local spots that just get everything right. Rating: 4/5 stars - reliable, tasty, and became our go-to spot during our London stay!

I have visited Cafe Bonnane several times and it's always been a good experience. I always prefer their English breakfast and coffee and this time I have tried hot chocolate too which was nice to have in this rainy weather. I usually dine in and their services are wonderful. I recommend their vegetarian English breakfast and full English breakfast. This usually costs around Β£20-30 for two people including drinks. Hope you enjoy your breakfast here!

One of the finest little cafes I have had the pleasure to find, a little gem in the heart of London, my partner and I stopped in for breakfast on the way in to town. We were greeted warmly by a lovely young lady and all the staff were lovely friendly and helpful, excellent service throughout. Traditional family run cafe, a little oasis in the heart of our capital, very popular but our superb full English breakfast took only ten minutes to arrive and I was the best I have had in a long time, excellent quality tea and the home made caramel cheesecake was the the icing on the cake Nothing tasted artificial all the ingredients were locally sourced and the eggs were free range and everything was cooked to perfection a high spot of our break and somewhere we will definitely visit again, final comment they could not improve Sanda the proprietor who runs the business has been in business 8 years, Sanda is Latvian and a charming lady, all in all excellent Julie

An easy-going restaurant, but the service was outstanding! I only stopped for a quick lunch, and yet the manager went above and beyond to deliver a great service. Many high-profile London restaurants would have something to learn from the professionalism I experienced here.

The tea was nice and hot, however our breakfast was ghastly, overpriced and absolutely tasteless. My poached egg wasn't cooked inside (see picture) the toast was stone cold, the mushrooms were soggy and horrible and 2 spoons of beans given, the uncooked egg could of gave me semonella. I told the waitress and she had apologised offering me a free drink which was a joke. The chef walked past my table and I had pulled him up and spoke to him about my egg and he said would you like me to cook another one after smoking his cigarette outside. I said no. I would not come here again even if someone paid me. Disgusting overpriced cafe and not worth the money nor visit. Would have given 0 stars as that's what it is worth!

Not cheap cafe, unfortunately food isn't matching the prices. Place is clean and well maintained. Coffee is nice, but I would say food is overpriced. Toast bread is cheap and nasty. Mushrooms are from tin. You get french fries instead of chips. Quantity is insufficient. Apart from that it is not bad.

Warmful reception. Nice full English breakfast. The wrap tuna in blasting!!!! The Americano well served and the cold drinks just fine. It's a place we can return every day and not get full of it!
