   BEST fish and chip joint this side of the river. Always ask for extra salt and vinegar, as I like alot and they always oblige and get it spot on. Tasty fish, generous portions! Highly recommend.

   Surprised at the choices on the menu really good choice for anyone. All freshly cooked good generous size portions. Kept very clean and tidy. Only downside was a single toilet for all to share. I will be going back again.

   When you have a craving for top notch fish and chips then Eltham Grill House is the place to go. So far the best in the area I have tried, the batter on fish is superb, crispy, tasty and not too oily either. Not only do they do great F&Cs, but they're also a grill house serving very delicious grilled fish and meats. The lamb on the combination grill is a must try as it was delicious and very tender. Really good portion sizes and great value for money. The staff are very friendly and efficient and if dining in, the restaurant is a lovely place to be, modern, clean and vibrant. Definitely know one of my favourite local restuarants.

   I can’t express how amazing this restaurant is. First of all, the food is ALWAYS cooked fresh, the fish, chips, sausage in batter - the lot. The fish is sourced carefully from billings gate market so there is no frozen fish cooked. All the food they cook is always fresh (never frozen), so the quality is amazing. The staff are amazing, Barry and his team are always kind and polite and provide the best service in the restaurant and in the take away. My Nan introduced me to this restaurant 4 years ago and I’ve made so many memories with her here, she sadly passed away recently but I’m lucky that I can go back to this restaurant with all the memories I have with her. Me and my partner go here at least once a month (recently through take away because of lockdown) but there is no where else I would rather go. The price for the fish is slightly higher than most places but it’s money well spent as you are paying for fresh high quality food. All of the other food is around the same price as other places but again, the quality is a lot better than other place. Thankyou Barry and your team for providing Eltham with a great restaurant.
