   We had a wonderful early dinner here after a long walk with our golden. Both of us were greeted warmly and our golden got a doggy sausage as a treat. The food and service was fantastic and reasonably priced. We would highly recommend the Five Bells and thank them for their hospitality today.

   We stopped off at The Five Bells towards the end of a long journey and we couldn't have made a better choice. Seated immediately, food was excellent, and everyone was so warm and welcoming to us and our one year old. Best pub we've been to in a long time, will definitely come back in the summer!

   Came here with my parents and dog and we were made so welcome. The staff were so friendly and gave treats to our dog. The food was hot and fabulous. The pub itself has been well kept inside and out in the garden so we loved it and will be back!

   Wow! Amazed today coming into the five bells It’s been taken over by new owners and they are absolutely lovely! Me and my partner got the bells beef burger each with bacon and cheese bacon was perfectly crispy burger was lovely! Was sooo nice. And we got onion rings too honestly amazing food and such a lovely family pub. Have play slides for the kids a huge garden nicely decorated. Such a warm feeling when walking in we have now booked in for a Sunday roast. And can’t wait to try it, also the house wine is divine and got price! This will now be our ongoing local. X

   You never know what to expect when you order a fish burger, but if you want beer battered cod in a brioche bun with tomato, lettuce, and tartare sauce, served with chips, then you won't be disappointed. Good sized piece of fish and although the menu said skinny fries, mine came with fat chips which were really good and I got a side of onion rings, crispy and not oily. £23.30 for the food and a pint, and worth the money. Nice atmosphere, obviously a local pub but very welcoming for 'outsiders' such as myself. Within 10 minutes walk of the hospital, so if you are visiting someone there it's a great place to come for lunch.

   Getting there! Nice refurbishment in older part of the pub with new toilets. Refurbished in newer part is a good improvement and lots of changes in garden area which will be good when finished for the summer.

   Thanks so much for putting on a last minute spead for a small wake. We were able to have a corner of the pub to ourselves. A nice little pub with a good range drinks and the buffet was spot on. Would like to return.
