   Food was hot and full of flavour. We ordered curry, goat and festival. Stew chicken with rice and peas. Mac and cheese. Plantains and coleslaw. It was all good! Best Caribbean Takeaway by a long shot! It’s a go to every time we’re in the area.

   I have seen the other posts and its a shame however, I am thankfully that I have had very good service and food. Was not expecting caribbean food out this way and so I was very pleased. Have order for the parents and even they have given it a good rating! They haven't taken any longer to deliver than they said they would, foods been hot so I'm very pleased. Please keep up the good work!

   Ordered at 3:50pm but was 2 hours late! We called to be told we will receive it in 10mins. When we did receive our order the chips were missing, the food was cold! The rice was stuck together because it was cold. The jerk chicken had barely any meat on it just bone, the festival was over cooked. Very disappointed as did order in the past and was not the best but gave the restaurant any other try and can say I will not be recommending or ordering again

   Order accepted at 7pm, still waiting at 9.30pm. Update from restaurant to say order would be delayed and delivered by 8.30pm, fine. Tried to call them after 8.30pm as no sign of food and their phone was turned off. Food never arrived and no updates. Useless, don't bother. Shouldn't be accepting orders.

   I gave 3 star coz food was tasty, only thing was late, and portion size! £10.50 for rice and oxtail, oxtail was like a small size! Not large as I ordered.

   Hi Big Mamma. We love your food, so super fresh & tasty. Goat and Ackee and saltfish our favs. Big generous portions too, rice and peas, hard food and yummy fried dumpling!!!!. Thank you . Best Caribbean food. Customers,I recommend you order for an earlier time than you want to eat , sometimes takes a few minutes longer, but so worth it. XX

   The food was average; the main issue was that it didn't taste freshly prepared and lacked flavour. I hope they can improve this as it is nice to have an option of authentic Jamaican food in the area.

   It is with much regret that I feel I have to review this business. I often subscribe to the idea that "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing". However, this review may save others the disappointing experiences I have had. When I first started ordering from Big Mama's Pot via UberEats, my wife and I thought we'd found a hidden gem; the food was very good, they had good variety and delivery was reasonable for an independent outlet (delivered by the restaurant, not UberEats). However, my last two experiences ordering from here have been nothing short of shocking. In December (2021), I placed an order via UberEats, which took over 2 hours to arrive. As I had placed the order at around 9pm, I had to make a decision to order from elsewhere before most local places closed at 11pm. Shortly after 11pm, having had to buy dinner from a local restaurant, Big Mama's Pot attempted to deliver, which I had to reject. It then took over 1 week for me to get UberEats to refund me for the order. This, coupled with the fact that I had tried to get in touch with the restaurant, both during the order and after I rejected it, and nobody thought to contact me, really put me off ordering from them again. Accepting that sometimes things go wrong, last Saturday (14th May 2022) my wife and I decided to try and order from this restaurant directly via their App which was advertised on literature in a previous order. We placed our order via the App, but opted to pay in cash on delivery (unfortunately as an insurance against the issues we encountered last time). We received confirmation that our order would be delivered within 40 mins. After 1 hour and 20 mins, and no sign of our order, we tried to  contact the restaurant, to no avail. We kept trying to contact the restaurant (there is only one mobile number listed) but were unsuccessful. At approximately 22.55, we resigned to the fact that this order was not going to arrive so, again, had to order from a local restaurant. To make things worse, after their closing time the restaurant marked the order as delivered!! This was amongst the worst service we have ever received and unfortunately will not risk this happening a third time with this restaurant.

   Fantastic food. Hubby has loved every dish we have tried but swears the goat curry is the best ever. Chicken curry is lush, macaroni cheese is lovely and the apple crumble is as good as my own! Great takeaway and excellent food. So impressed I have downloaded their app. Cant wait to order again
