   Came for Sunday lunch without a reservation with our bikes. The manager was great at finding secure place for us to put our bikes, and gave us a table with a patio heater and blankets! The nicely presented food was great and served quickly. We'll be back!

   Popped in without a booking. Liam, the new manager took us under his wing. We asked if he could fit us in. He said yes, if we don't mind waiting. We said yes absolutely no problem. We got a table, the food was lovely. Liam and his staff were amazing. Get down here if you can. You'll have a great time.

   Went for Sunday lunch to celebrate two birthdays and was rather disappointed. Food was very bland and for the first time in as long as I can remember, had to add salt and pepper to obtain any taste. Service was ok but felt that they weren’t ready when we arrived. Nice pub but food not great - won’t be coming again.

   A lovely local pub in the charming village of Shoreham. The service was great and I had a tasty half pint of Bigfoot from the local Stay Wild brewery. I’m not usually a fan of pale ale but this subtle and aromatic.

   Really lovely country pub with a good drinks selection and a good atmosphere. Staff were friendly and our dog was welcome in the bar area. We only had some chips from the bar menu as a snack after a long country walk. They were very nice but can't speak to the wider food menu.

   The epitome of a beautiful English country pub. Friendly welcome, fair choice of bar meals and a decent range of beers. We didn’t get to sample the restaurant but sausage rolls were more than ample on this occasion. Larkins Brewery ales, I had a pint of best which hit the spot. Draft lagers include Stella, Mahou, Corona and Bohemian Rhapsody. Parking can be an issue but hey why are you driving anyway! Will revisit for sure and check out the restaurant.

   My friend had her Mum’s 80th birthday party here. It was a brilliant venue. The staff were so friendly, helpful and professional. Everything went like clockwork. The food was amazing and the service faultless. The party was supposed to finish by 5pm as the restaurant had to reopen, but most of the guests stayed at the pub for most of the evening!! A good time was had by all.

   My husband and I had a lovely meal at this pub on Thursday. We’ve tried to visit a couple of times previously as a walk-in with no success so we decided to book this time around. The service was perfect - friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious. There was so much that was appealing on the menu it was hard to choose. I had the hake which was beautifully cooked and my husband had the roast chicken which was also very good. Of the puddings, the dark chocolate cremeaux was sensational. The wine list is a bit limited but we managed to find a bottle of something nice. The restaurant area is an airy space which manages to also feel cosy. All in all a great meal and we will be back!

   We ate at the restaurant with friends on Saturday night, the food was prepared beautifully and the flavours were heavenly. The menu had plenty of dishes to choose from. The salt cod and chorizo scotch egg starter was the best starter I think I have ever tasted I could have eaten it all over again. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant the front of house staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The interiors are also gorgeous. Finally a decent restaurant near Sevenoaks, can’t wait to return.
