   Lovely Winter menu today. I had the chestnut, parsnip and apple soup with a goat cheese open sandwich. Lovely flavors, good portions, quick service. Nothing to complain about. Staff were great, we sat by the fire. Pub was clean and prices were reasonable. Will be back! Photo shows goat cheese open sandwich.

   We came as a family of 5 plus a medium dog, all different generations, for a pre Christmas meal and it was exceptional. I have worked in hospitality for a decade and I can't understand why this doesn't have a higher review score. The food was the best I've had in a pub in years, the service was so personal and attentive without being imposing. We had a few dietary requirements that were accommodated with no bother at all. The atmosphere was lovely and overall we are just so thrilled to have such a wonderful pub in the village. The new management have really created such a cosy, welcoming vibe with really high standards of food and service. Thank you - highly recommend.

   Saw this place whilst driving through as it looked quite clean and pretty with lovely flowers outside. Popped in on the off chance of a free table for Sunday lunch. Very attentive staff, felt very welcome. Nice to see a hands on manager too. Food arrived promptly and looked delicious, which it was. Great portion size for a full roast dinner and not overly expensive. Great place great staff great food in quaint little village. Large well kept garden out the back, great for families.

   Gorgeous 16c pub with glorious period features. Our roast dinners were very tasty. The beef was nice and lean. Dinners came with pigs in blankets, massive Yorkshires and homemade apple sauce (so good tasted like it was made with dessert apples). Very good. Well worth the drive from Crystal Palace.

   On a long walk we stopped for lunch to this lovely cosy pub. Service was great and food was delicious, portions were huge! We give only 4 stars as we do think cost of drinks is really high. However we would still recommend it for a nice stop.

   Absolutely amazing place. The local Pub to Otford is back. Went to this absolutely stunning pub with my family recently. Had absolutely amazing service has amazing new managers that made the whole place feel so welcoming. Food was great. The roast dinners are from another planet and absolutely amazing. Burgers are stunning. Great kids menu. Great menu overall could not fault for a local pub. Will be definitely coming again. Had a great atmosphere. Nice to see busy once again! 10/10 Dog friendly, clean, stylish, cosy local pub, real fireplace, warm and inviting!

   Lovely old fashion looking pub. Called in at lunchtime after a walk. The size of the pub is good and has a large garden. The staff were friendly, but sadly the kitchen was closed, which is usually the case with most pubs now at lunchtime in the present financial climate. Hopefully things will get better eventually otherwise we are going to loose so many of our lovely country pubs.

   Location and the pub are grate. Very disappointed about customer service. The waitress he has repeatedly sinned of arrogance and indifference. Food arrived an hour later for three of four of us and not the best.
