What an absolute find! We stopped here for lunch with family and dogs and had a lovely time. The pub team were friendly and welcoming. They were delighted to see our dogs. They have 2 beautiful Alsatians but popped them away just in case. The hot fishfinger wrap that I had was delicious and the chips were fresh, crispy and just right. Other family had the halloumi wrap and enjoyed it very much. We will be coming back again as it was such a great place.
George cooked me the most perfect egg I’ve ever had and it was absolutely banging. The chips ugh the chips were so good. Crispy egg, crispy chips, would recommend. Will come back for five more eggs
The Pied Bull is a true gem! From the moment you walk in, the customer service is exceptional. Rachel, Cerys, and Aifie, in particular, were so friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel extra special. They were attentive without being intrusive and really went the extra mile to ensure we had a wonderful time. The food was equally impressive. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked, crispy batter and flaky fish – just what you crave! The carrot soup, along with the soup of the day, was also delicious, clearly made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavour. It's clear that Cask Ales Fine Wines prioritizes quality in both their food and their service. My companion, Gusta, and I had an amazing time, and we can't wait to go back. Highly recommended!
What an absolutely amazing find! Dog friendly, cozy yet spacious. Everything here is wonderful from the staff, the service and most importantly, the food! Best fish and chips we've ever had, the portions are very generous and everything tasted wonderful. The definition of proper good pub food. We will definitely be back!
I used to be a regular drinker at the Pied Bull before moving away. I returned this weekend and was very pleased to see that the place is still as welcoming and friendly as ever, with fab staff, delicious food and plenty of drinks options. It's dog friendly so my two cockapoos enjoyed the visit too, with lots of fuss from the welcoming staff and even a treat or two! I will definitely be visiting again when I'm next in the area!
Absolute hidden gem! The steak I had was the best one I ever tried. Well... Truly speaking, everything we ordered was fingerlicking good. Even fries (the part of the meal I usually skip), were too good to be left on a plate. All staff was super friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable, if not to say really nice (due to sizes of the portion).
Super happy with our lunch today, food is delicious and definitely worth of little wait. Pie was incredible, very soft. Highly recommended
Great dog friendly pub with welcoming staff. Stopped here for lunch after visiting the country park nearby. A varied, reasonably priced menu and the usual selection of beers. Will definitely visit again when in the area!
