   Probably one of the best Steak & Ale pies i’ve ever had, ever. We had a big family lunch and everyone agreed that the food was amazing. The deserts were spectacularly huge too! (My only caveat is that the cutlery needs to be sturdier as the thin knife had a job to get through the awesome pie-crust.) Great staff, great food in a great location with plenty of parking opposite the pub. Even the toilets were really nice. Weird comment I know but they were well looked after and a few if us commented to that effect. Five stars from us!

   Lovely cosy little pub. The food was excellent and served promptly. Coffees good. Prices very reasonable and overall a very high standard of taste and presentation. Lovely staff. Friendly place. I will definitely visit here again. Easy to park.

   There definitely not going to win any awards for being welcoming really cold and moody if fact worse service i have ever received just painfully slow, but the food was surprisingly very good in fact the food was excellent and fairly priced so if your looking for a really good Sunday dinner then I would recommend. Toilets very clean.

   Lovely pub in a stunning village. 10/10 - The food was amazing, big portions and excellent prices regarding quality/quantity. Forgot to take pictures of the wraps we had but they were delicious. Highly recommend it.

   From organising the table a few days in advance, to eating the food on the table was just perfect. After completing a 6 mile walk, the sight of the pub knowing we'd booked a lunch was very nice indeed. The choice of food was sublime, standard roasts , main menu items, chalk board specials. Most of us (x5) plumbed for the roasts, which were perfect. As I was the driver today, the sight of two Harvey's beers on tap brought tears to my eyes (not really...) At least I know where to find it. The pub itself is pleasantly laid out and staffed by some very nice people. Not sure I really want to recommend this pub simply because I'd like to selfishly visit again soon, but I will. It's not Michelin Star but it's offering perfect pub food and drink. It's situated a stone's throw from the Eynsford Ford and next door to the main church (visible by its spire) Thank you Malt Shovel - a good job well done.

   Got there by accident as me and my kids were just passing through the area and stopped for something to eat. Place was packed and it seemed that we should have a reservation to make it easier for everyone (Sunday afternoon) but staff was brilliant and very helpful so they managed to get us a place to sit. Food was amazing, place have a great village pub vibe to it and people who work there are very professional. Prices are very decent. One of the best pubs we visited so far. Highly recommended if you are around.

   Nice Sunday roast. Big portion. Reasonable priced. The pub is really clean and comfy environment. Toilet is really clean which is also good sign of good pub. On street free parking. There are two English heritage sites nearby. We had nice experience here.
