We are regulars at The Bull and all of the staff are so friendly and greet us very warmly, often knowing what we like to drink. Had an amazing experience being served for our stay by Kirsty, not just super friendly but went above and beyond when I left my phone on the table. She spotted it and ran after us into the co-op to give it back to me. I'm forever grateful for this. Lovely bunch of people.

It's been a while since I had been to the Bull and wow what a difference the pub is now. When I arrived with friends after a funeral and wanted to eat. We were approached by Kirsty and we ask if there was a table free. I couldn't believe Kirsty was still working at the Bull and she still had a smile and friendly approach. She then introduced us to the new manager Sally, Sally seemed like a lovely manager and knew her stuff about the bussiness. Kirsty said grab a table that hasn't got a reserve sign on and we found a lovely corner table that was clean and ready to go. I then had a lovely pint of Birra Moretti and ordered the Millionaire burger which was always my favourite before. As I was sitting at the table I noticed that smile never left Kirsty and that she was working really hard to make sure all the customers were happy. She made sure she checked on us after receiving the food. The whole experience was great and I will definitely will be visiting very soon, next time with the family. Thank you again to the team at the Bull! Also, I noticed the toilets have been refurbished, which was definitely needed. See you soon!

We booked a table for 5 of fire lunch snd we got good service and the food was good too, but however there was 1 lady called Danni who was on her own and served at the bar and brought out peoples food! I said to her the only thing you don’t do is cook the food! She then said she is the cook usually too! Cone on employ more staff … it isn’t fair to expect staff to wear many hats

From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made a real effort to ensure our family felt comfortable – even with two energetic children in tow! The pub has a wonderfully relaxed, cosy atmosphere, and it’s clear they’ve thought carefully about making it truly family-friendly. The menu had something for everyone – hearty classics for the grown-ups, lighter options for those who wanted them, and a great kids’ menu with proper, wholesome food (not just the usual freezer options). Our meals were cooked perfectly, portions were generous, and the presentation showed real care. The children especially loved their desserts, and we loved that the prices were very reasonable. What really stood out was the little touches – colouring sheets and crayons for the kids, highchairs ready without having to ask, and a spacious layout so prams and pushchairs weren’t a hassle. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a proper meal while the kids feel happy and welcome, not like an afterthought. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for somewhere that serves great food, treats you like family, and makes dining out with kids an easy, enjoyable experience, especially with the spacious garden! this pub is an absolute gem. Highly recommended!

Visited on Thursday for a meal booked a table for 18:00 the lady with dark hair behind the bar didn't even greet us with a hello or a smile and just pointed us to our table and also didn't explain how we order! we ordered some drinks and starters via the app and the food arrived before our drinks, I went to the bar to let the lady know we'd been waiting 30 minutes for our drinks the bar wasn't even busy) and she very rudely replied (yeah 2 secs) another 8 mins later she finally brought over our drinks and by the time we had finished our starters! mains arrived ( food was ok) but not one apology from the rude bar lady or the gent who brought our food whom I also explained that we hadn't got our drinks! customer service was absolutely disgusting! To top off our already shocking experience... the halloumi was burned to a crisp and the toilets were unclean and smelly. Avoid!

Has recently become my favourite "restaurant" hadn't visited the pub in a long time but now I try to go a couple of times a week. The food prices compete even with home cooking and win in a lot of areas. The food is great quality and even when it is busy I haven't had any really notable waits, the service is great and the atmosphere is good. Also was really nice to see the pub decorated and carrying the Christmas spirit over the holidays I particularly liked the little sleigh!

First time here and the atmosphere is great. The pub has its own car park (just remeber to to register when you go in). We had the Christmas menu which was limited to a number of starters mains and desserts. I found this really useful as it stopped any messing about with people not know what to choose. Everything had a Christmas twist which was great. My burger came with a sausage and sprout on top! Food tasted great and service was excellent. Will be back again in the new year for sure!

Absolutely lovely pub! Had my daughters baby shower here and it was a total success! The atmosphere was brilliant, everyone enjoyed themselves and the buffet food (which was hot and cold food) was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be going again soon and will be telling everyone I know about this fantastic pub/venue. Thank you to all the staff involved in making our night such a success!

Turned up on a Tuesday evening. Staff seemed pleasant. Noticed a special on rump steak meals, so wife and I ordered it along with a starter combi. Presentation was good, but quality of beef was very poor. Ended up leaving most of mine, too grisly, not enough actual meat. The wife found hers was edible, but struggled. Lucky we ordered the large starter. Won't be returning....!
