Had a lovely afternoon tea here today! The food was brilliant - we left with a box full as we couldn't finish it all - and the service was excellent. We will be back and will be recommending to friends.

Came today with my husband and had a lovely afternoon tea. The food was absolutely gorgeous and plentiful, we have left feeling very full and satisfied. The hospitality was lovely and we felt very looked after. We hope to come back again!

Visited this week as a group of 4, I used to regularly dine in Dalchini 15+ years ago and was excited to try it again. The staff were friendly but not attentive, for example we weren’t offered any water on arrival or throughout our meal. Unfortunately the ambience was lacking, we were only ones in the restaurant bar one other table, there was no background music and no physical menu’s - you have to scan a QR code. When dinning out for dinner, you want to put your phone away, so really didn’t enjoy the fact that the only option to access the menu was from our phones, scrolling to fine dishes. The drinks menu wasn’t online even though the QR code was for β€˜food and drinks’ . The drinks options were okay, but lacking. I think they had two options for mocktails and basic soft drinks only. The food was okay - good but not memorable. The pepper chilli paneer was very good, vegetarian Manchurian was good too. I did find the portions to be small compared to other indo Chinese spots - especially the chilli paneer starter. It took a while for our dessert order to be taken, and the bill to arrive. After we placed our desert order and menu’s were taken away, the waiter came back a few later and asked if we wanted ice cream with the dessert - we said yes and were charged. We found it a bit odd, and assumed it was included. All in all, average experience which was disappointing as we had high hopes.

Used to be a fan - unfortunately multiple mistakes made. Requested dishes to be mild which was promised by waiter but Chef provided the spiciest pad Thai I’ve eaten in my life which nearly caused me to pass out. It was eventually replaced. Green curry remained to be spicy and the ask was ignored again. The duck was quite disappointing and not tender at all. It was in fact partially cold and quite chewy. I’ve been here multiple times, chicken lollops and the steamed fish is good. Great customer service with a nice interior, just let down on ignorance of spice levels and poor quality of duck again.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Dalchini! We visited for our wedding anniversary - enjoyed the best of Indo-Chinese cuisine! Highly recommend the chicken lollipops, Hunan chicken, both - the Burnt Garlic, and Burnt Ginger fried rice, each with chicken, and the Prawn Manchurian. Loved the cocktails too! Will definitely be visiting often, and have already recommended to family and friends.

Very authentic and flavourful Indo-Chinese food! The drinks were alright though, and the mains portion was smaller than expected. For Β£35 a person I’d expect a bit more.

Was lovely evening however they were very busy so servicexwas very slow but we'll worth it. Starters were fantastic especially the squid and the chilli paneer. Main course was nice and the best dish was the chicken King po... special daalchini rice was brilliant and the Paratha was the best thing in the whole menu! Highly recommended restaurant but probably avoid on a Friday or Saturday night if you can...

Good variety on the starters! But main course left much to be desired. Not particularly fresh, somewhat greasy and felt like some ready sauces have just been added on. Will need to work much harder to compete with other top-end restaurants.
